Ridiculousness

It's a show with internet videos. Some people like Tosh and some people prefer Dyrdek and his cohosts plus a guest sometimes. Call it a rip off but is every cop or detective show a rip off of the first cop show and therefore no good or is it just a type of show now? I personally can't put up with too much of Tosh and prefer Rob, Sterling, and Chanel. Sterling points out the funny background stuff and Chanel is hot and laughs a lot (if you get mad at pretty women laughing funny you're worried about the wrong thing). The best are when it's just the three of them. They have guests who are good maybe 1/3 of the time and the rest are stiffs but it doesn't make a huge difference. What else do you want when you're hanging out watching stupid stuff? If you prefer Tosh, watch that. If you think the whole thing is stupid, just don't watch. To me this is great to put on in the background when you're having drinks with friends or if you just want some cheap, dumb laughs at the expense of idiots.

The cackle of the girl cohost sounds like nails on a chalk board. All she does it sit there are cackle at any gross video they feature. The main host should thank his lucky stars that he has this gig. It must be the easiest job in earth. I assume this show is designed for teens and children. Stunt videos and immature comments galore !

Worst show to ever exist. An embarrassment to the human race. The host acts like an idiotic ten year old. You will lose IQ points every minute you drudge through the idiocy of the show.

I don't have cable so I honestly hadn't heard of Ridiculousness until I came upon a clip on Facebook a week ago. I'm 52, a grandma from Arkansas (no,I don't support Trump and yes, I wear a mask) and I find it uproariously funny! Chanel West Coast (again, never heard of her before last week) has the cutest laugh and pops off with a surprisingly witty comment occasionally or just a cute dumb blonde observation. Steelo has a sharp sense of humor, spots the most obscure parts of videos bringing even more humor to the scene! Think of Mystery Science Theater 3000- if you hate that then you'll probably hate this. I'm not up on most celebrities so I mostly ignore their presence unless they say something witty but the cast is solid.

I came here to see how many episodes they had and who the host Rob was. I was shocked to find they've been on for like 15 years and going strong.

I see a great deal of negative reviews which surprised me. Then I remembered how polarizing South Park, Family Guy, Beavis and Butthead, and many other comedies over have been over the years. I have a bit of a dark sense of humor and I enjoy political satire as well as stupid sh@t i.e. Holy Grail, Team America, I Love You to Death. To me, Ridiculousness is the best thing I've seen come out of MTV in a long while.

With Tosh.0 debuting on Comedy Central in 2009, becoming their most popular and most-watched show, MTV decided to cash in on their successful cash cow to host a funny internet reaction show.

Enter Ridiculousness, hosted by entrepreneur Rob Dyrdek, who also had 2 other shows from MTV he did: Rob & Big and Rob Dyrdek's Fantasy Factory before hosting Ridiculousness.

The 2 co-hosts/commenters, also from Fantasy Factory, were Sterling "Steelo" Brim, who controls the videos by playing, pausing, rewinding, fast-forwarding, speeding it up and slowing it down when commanded by the host, and rapper Chanel West Coast, who for the most part, usually just sits and occasionally laughs, therefore delivering what we know as "the girl with the laugh".

Chanel would leave in 2023 and after many guest co-host, they settled on Lauren "Lolo" Wood as the new permanent "sit there and laugh" co-host.

I wouldn't recommend watching more than maybe 2 or 3 episodes as its usually the same format every episode, and try to not overthink while watching as your brain will overheat.
