Too much energy put into a casting looking for physical similarities and not good performances.
Another excuse to jump on the fashion of 80s explotation.
The story is not bad, it's ok. It's the Fito's story, since birth to the "El Amor Despues del Amor" gig. His passions, loves, fears, his family's tragedy, the drug and alcohol abuse
At least, for me, a witness of all that age and musicians, there was a pleasure hearing all those gems... but only that.
If you wasn't there in that moment, probabl y you get nothing good about this serie.
I hope that if they decide to make one about Charly Garcia, do it better.

I really enjoyed this series, even if (though I'm Argentinian) I've never been a hardcore fan of Fito Paez or Argentinian music in general. That being said, I love a lot of that music and I know a lot of it very well, as I grew up listening to it and it's part of my culture and it's burned in me, it brings back beautiful memories.
On my forties now, and living abroad for almost half of my life, I wish I was a part of all that, watching this series made me quite melancholic and that's pure merit of the production value which is outstanding. The costume and settings design is excellent, and the attention to detail lifts up the experience really high.
Knowing the musicians that appear in the story and the melodies and songs that Fito plays even in their early stages of development is something that probably Argentinians will enjoy the most, but even someone that doesn't know the characters could get interested in researching further into these music legends of our country and find some of these gems which probably are not known internationally.
As mentioned before, the cinematography (I'm a photographer/cinematographer, so I get quite technical in this aspect when I watch) is absolutely beautiful, it's really one of the best aspects of the show, really high standards for a "TV series"!!
And again, I felt very touched throughout the episodes, which speaks of good writing, so another great achievement there!
I have to say, some times the performances were uneven, mostly from the main character Fito (played by Ivan Hochman) who felt a bit overacted by moments, but I understand the real Fito has some special, intense body language (even for an Argentinean!) and that can be a huge challenge! Still, it's not something that ruined the show and the physical resemblance really helped. Specially Micaela Riera as Fabiana Cantilo, incredible resemblance!!
Overall an excellent show, I really enjoyed it and I'm really looking forward to see more Argentinian artists brought into more series of this quality.
Well done all the team, and thank you for bringing me back home.

Good story, could be shorter because the principal character still playing but they made the story in an large amount of episodes. I think this way because the story hasn't ended.
Good casting. Every single character was important and tells important passages from the main character's life.
Very energetic from the beginning, no complaints about how the story describe the childhood moments and you can understand his feelings and thoughts.
I'm my opinion, the drug uses were necessary to explain the main character was internal suffering but I have some many questions without answer about. I think they could resolved in a smooth way what happened with the drug and alcohol abuse.
There are so many important characters that the show never talked and only at the end you can see them participating of the story.
But in general, good show to spend and nice and quiet moment.

For anyone who loves making and composing pop rock music, has an hispanic background (and knows about good argentinian rock music), writes songs, had tragedy in their life, struggles with family issues, pain and loss. Will be in for a treat.
Its a very moving real life story. Great work from the actors overall. Saw the whole series twice, cried multiple times. And will probably see it again with friends that grew up in Buenos Aires in the 80's and will recognize all the songs. Got my guitar and learned the CharyGarcia song 'ojos de videotape' and now I play and sing it whenever I can. No sean bolúdos y veanla!!

I watched this with my Australian partner who didn't grew up with this music and it made him so curious of Argentinian rock
This is a great watch for expats as well as international audience.
I would love a second season as there are incredible songs Fito made after el amor después del amor.
The series are very high quality and the acting is superb.
Fabiana Cantilo is amazing and I can't believe Andres Calamaro didn't even talk! But Julian kartun portraying Spinetta was adorable to watch.
Loved every second of this series And I might rewatch again soon Great drama Great music Great story And all based on a real guy.
