It's really a shame that any romantic drama gets put in the "soap" corner. You can put the cliché tag on almost everything obviously, but when it is shown with actors playing convincing characters as in this one, you should be able to differentiate. I haven't seen the "prequel" either, but the movie still makes sense and is nicely told. And as said, the actors are really good.

You should be aware, than different from US movies with a romantic touch (well most of them obviously, not all of them), you do get to see people having sex in this. Not explicit, but there are naked body parts that you will be exposed to. Why? Because it tries to keep it real and not give you just a romantic version of something that does not exist. Can you handle that?

When i heard there is the econd paart i was soo freaking happy. But when i wched it i was actually soo disappointed that it was actually sad. I would always watch the first part, but the second one never again!

I would have preferred H having returned either having worked overseas or having completed his studies and then look up a job either with his brother or elsewhere. Moreover his silent love for Babi should have continued wherein Babi's parents finally realize that the boy has changed and make way for him to meet Babi to forget the past and reconcile and continue their loving life to really be Three metres above the heaven. Instead I observe H continues with his usual reckless life and ends up a loser. Finally what is H going to do in his life - no one knows. Good acting but could have had a better ending. After all Love conquers all.

I dont usually write reviews but I had to on this one. I really liked the first part as its ending was different from all the love stories we get to see on big screen and it was what happens most of the time "THEY DO NOT LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER" and it was acceptable but this movie, man it made me want to rip my eyes out. It was not necessary at all. If you've watched the first part and are trying to watch this, my advice is dont just please dont, you'd be doing yourself a favor.

The first time I saw this movie was on TV...then I watched it 5 times again. Then I created subtitles for this movie on my own, just so I could show it to my friends. In short, I love this movie. Probably the best movie I have ever seen. Can I explain myself objectively and make arguments for why? No. This movie just left such an impression on me that I couldn't forget about it and watched it over and over. The drama, the romance, the acting, the flirting, the sadness...I just felt such an roller-coaster of emotions watching this movie and it hooked me from the first 5 minutes.

I can't recommend it highly enough.

'Three feet above heaven' Is a good movie n the sequel, I want you seems promising too.. Saw the original T. F. A. H. on youtube with English subtitles.. n it was good..!!

Saw this movie in parts on U2 rockgroup music video( Iconic album) Achtung Baby n the song is Ultraviolet .. H with his character of reckless young man falling for( a elite family )young girl Babi has many shades to it..the good part is Babi falling for a bold man with an adventures way of lifestyle too.n how he takes Babi on a joyride which cannot be dreamt of by Babi forms the interesting most part of T. FA. H. with a twist in the end. The chemistry in between the lead characters is too good.

Second part is much better, and Hace with Gin are much beautiful couple.

It started really good but the end was just too much drama that it was too confuse and unbelievable.

One happening after another and one more drama story after another. Even dramas of persons who aren't important for the story. Just a strange and unnatural way to add more and more feelings of drama. At the end it was just stupid, silly and unnatural behavior.

Mario Casas leads the cast of this sequel of ¨Three Meters Above The Sky¨ the story of two young people who belong to different worlds ; this one starts with the return of the misfit , impulsive , unconscious young man H (Mario Casas) , to his hometown where meets his mother (Carme Elias) and reconnecting with the past means struggle and also a new love (Clara Lago) who reluctant at first but finally falls in love for him . Meanwhile , ¨H¨ gets mixed up with some tough as well as bad guys and is embodied in endless fights and illegal motorbike races , the limit of common sense . Later on , ¨Hache¨ meets again Babi (Maria Valverde) , the girl from upper-middle class that was educated in goodness and innocence .

Sensitive as well as romantic drama is loaded with an enjoyable triangular love story , twisted situations and with a distinctly Spanish idiosyncrasy . It is the chronicle of a love improbable , almost impossible between two maladjusted young people : Mario Casas and Clara Lago but inevitable dragging in a frantic journey in which he discovers again his first great love : Maria Valverde . Although is full of predictability and cliché-ness the film results out to be pretty entertaining . It turns out to be pleasantly fun that offers no intellectual stimulus whatsoever ; an exercise in pure escapism in which entertainment and thrilling happenings are guaranteed .

Passable acting by Mario Casas as Hache , a rebellious boy who has an appetite for risk and danger , a ¨rebel without a cause¨ , in James Dean'style . This is Mario Casas's most important screen appearance in screen and pretty well Clara Lago as the beautiful dancer Gin . And agreeable and charming Maria Valverde as the innocent Babi . As shown in the film, H and Babi develop a relationship , well, the two actors developed a relationship of their own in 2010 , though it is known that the two broke up in September of 2014 . Ample support cast formed by newcomers who would have an acceptable and uneven career , such as : Ferran Vilajosana , Diego Martín , Nerea Camacho , Alvaro Cervantes of ¨Carlos I¨ series and Carlos Francino of ¨Victor Ros¨ series . Colorful and glimmer cinematography by Xavi Gimenez . Atmospheric and moving musical score by Manel Santisteban . And the advertisement including Christina Aguilera who looks amazing on the set for her music video for 'Hoy Tengo Ganas De Ti' with Alejandro Fernández .

Federico is a Best-seller writer and director , known for¨ Amore 14¨ , ¨Scusa Ma Ti Voglio Sposare¨ , ¨Tre Metri Sopra Il Cielo¨ (2004) or ¨Tres Metros Sobre el Cielo¨ (2010) and its sequel , ¨Tengo Ganas De Ti¨ (2012) . He also wrote several scripts as ¨Palla Al Centro¨ , ¨Ho Voglia Di Te¨ , ¨Classe Mista 3A¨ and ! Cannibal holocaust 2 ¡ . ¨Perdona Si Te Llamo Amor¨ . The motion picture was professionally directed by the Spanish filmmaker Fernando González Molina ("Three Steps Above Heaven") . Tengo ganas de ti (I want you) is the follow up film to 3 metros sobre el cielo (3 steps above heaven). H returns home from abroad more mature and while he settles in at his brothers place, he meets up with some of the remaining members of his old crew. He also meets Gin, a young free-spirited bohemian artist who lives with her brother and is very interested in H. H gets a job in a theater as assistant production crew and Gin ends up trying out for the production...just as things heat up between H and G, Babi arrives

Babi introduces a melancholy section to the film when what initially seems like a reunion becomes closure and leads to some devastating events.

The ending was decent, but overall the first film is better. Mario Casas and Clara Lago, have great chemistry as H and Gin and I did prefer their more mature connection, but the overall story between H and Babi was much more epic and film worthy.

I did like this more mature H and I love Mario Casas...but I am going to stick with the first film is better. I can recommend it to those romantics who are looking for closer between H and Babi.

The direction of this movie is cool, connecting the parts of 3 steps above heaven very well. The friendships along with love are the best in this movie. A must-watch OG film for those who love -love stories. And these spanish girls are also cute.

If the first movie was an awful "rebel without cause" movie, what can you do if the main character is no longer a rebel? This is a redemption film and, to be honest, that kind of stuff gives the chance to introduce a lot of dramatic and cry making content. But this film has a problem that shares with the first movie, and it's that when the film tries to be serious is when it absolutely fails. Not the plot, neither the characters or the story itself have the capacity to make the spectator anything more than a laugh (you will find out yourself doing more than one face palm with some of the scenes of this movies).

The main character starred by Mario Casas is better in this film than in the first one. He has growed up and his personality is deeper. Mario isn't a superb actor, but he has charisma and he tries his best in order to show different sensations and the result is better than I expected.

Continuing with the girls, Clara Lago, a Spanish revelation who can be seen in a lot of movies in this last years has a great chance to show her acting skills with her character, Gin, but, I'm sorry, she doesn't make the cut. She isn't convincing in the most dramatic scenes, and, this is my opinion, she isn't as cute as some people is trying to convince us. Her character isn't believable at all. The other female main character, Babi, starred by Spanish star Maria Valverde is just, OK, average, well done. Maria makes a plain performance, with the automatic pilot enabled, but she's such a star that even without making an effort steals your attention.

In conclusion, this film is OK if you are only trying to watch a Barely entertaining film in which you can find a bit of romance, fight, friendship, adventure... but don't expect anything more. I should recommend it to every Spanish teenager girl who love Mario Casas and still dream with the bad-ass guy that can be changed with their love.

Whoever designed the color scheme of this film really nailed the romanticized aura of Barcelona. Too bad that's not all that a film's supposed to be because other than this aspect of the film, there's not much to it. All the key scenes are so forced, artificial, and cheesy as if a kid drew up the entire movie than a competent cinematographers rendered his cheesy-ass fantasies into fruition. If I were you, I'd stay clear away from films like this. Pure 130 minutes of disappointment.

Having not seen the prequel, I am basing my comments strictly on this film (which is as it should be). This was basically a 2 hour perfume ad. We are subjected to many lingering shots of pretty faces, model bodies and high fashion in an assortment of nicely lit night settings. The problem is that someone forgot to add a story. Well, there is a story but it has all the depth of a puddle. The characters are adults all trapped in their early teen minds strongly emoting over a series of nothings. This young person's soap opera has the play-book of clichés--boy pouts over lost love, can new girl win his torn heart or will he return to his old love?, another girl gets pregnant from a fling, a mother discovers her husband is cheating on her, another mother lies dying in a hospital, a motor race to settle scores.......you've seen it all before in better, shorter movies.

After first film this was awful. After teenagerish story, this wasn't good.

This movie is bad.

I think we can all agree that babi&hache's chemistry is undeniable and was created in an unforgettable way in the three steps above heaven, but i have to add that i expected a better job in the follow-up movie being i want you 2012. I think actors did a marvellous job but the writing team could do better as for this couple and all characters and audience's hopes deserved a better ending. The second movie's problem is that it makes no sense to continue the movie series if you're just gonna ruin the good opinion and memories audience have of the first film.

However my opinion all flows could be forgotten if there would be a third movie offering a beautiful and happy ending in babi & h's love story.
