a graceful "naadan" movie of satyan anthikadu..the director always gives movies revolving around middle class families in kerala and this movie is no different..movie revolves around the female lead,vidyalakshmi and how she survives with her daughter after her husband is killed and she is abandoned by her family and how an auto rickshaw driver,preman along with his friends and companions take in both of them..mamta mohandas who plays vidyalakshmi does justice to the role..so does the other actors..however it was a bold move by satyan to cast mamta as vidyalakshmi which was a turning point in mamta's career who was renowned for her glam roles before...
