Adorable Cinderella Story, Albeit TV Movie Budget Quality
In general, if don't enjoy Cinderella stories, this movie is a pass. It's as unrealistic as they come, and leans on tried and true corny scripted fantasy love story lines.
IF however, you enjoy the daydream type love story (that could literally never happen, but would be wonderful if it could), this might be a real gem for you. The early scene in this film set in a restaurant with 10 year old Jane and Michael is worth the view alone - a clip of this scene went viral on social media a while ago. You might have seen it (or passed over it) in your feed on Instagram. Precious moment 🙌.
Not much else to say without giving away the story. It runs 88 mins edited originally to cut to commercials and with those would run 2 hours.
My "7" is like many reviewer's 8s, and means I'm giving it one thumbs up and a recommend to view with caveats I wrote above.
