The film has a good message, very positive, it's worth it to go to the movies to watch it. It is perfect for kids and Juan Luis Guerra's fan. I'm eager for a 2nd part of it. It could get better in the next part, explaining better the origen of the hero, and better battles, but anyway it was better that I thought it would be. I loved all the songs and the 2 main villains. I know that Juan Luis Guerra and his son are going to improve some details that would be boring for people who don't know Juan Luis Guerra' music.
Amelia Vega played well as villain, I didn't expect that she could get that character.

When you see a famous latino singer doing an animated film about one of his songs based on wasps, you would expect something creative as most animated musical videos. But we instead got a lame poorly made animated superhero movie that's mainly a ripoff of Bee Movie and Flushed Away and The Incredibles with horrible latino stereotypes and overdone tropes and weird pop culture references like it referencing Batman And Robin (1997). The soundtrack is good but like twin movie Sunshine Barry and The Disco Worms it can't really save the poor quality of the film. The animation is good but some of the characters movements are stiff and the designs are ugly.
Seeing the message at the beginning of the movie- "Dancing allowed", I got excited and was waiting for a "Sing!" -type family fun. Instead we were left exhausted from a full-blast, non-stop music, serving only as a background for the most boring rip-off scenes of bee battles.. (sadly, poorly animated on top of everything). You can see the board of producers trying to tick all the boxes for a animated block-buster yet getting the most emotion-stripped, annoying and non-funny family movie you can imagine. This is what happens when your only motivator to create a movie is cash. Just. So. Lazy. And. Sad.
