A tough, adult exploitation film in which violence and retribution are the main themes.

Essentially the story follows the son of the exterminator, in a one man army against crime, i missed these vigilante movies and with this one, it hitted the spot.

The actors do their job well, mainly the exterminator and the crime lord.

Though the film only has one scene of strong gore, the series of deaths are impactful and pretty disturbing.

The film concentrates on the various ways the exterminator kills his enemy´s.

Essential viewing for vigilante fans.

Just like John Rambo this movie captures a Jake Eastland the son of the exterminator that grabs the guns and goes to fight criminals on the streets of Detroit.

The premise is simple, and i do like a vigilante films, i already saw all of the old ones from 70´s to 80´s, so i couldn´t miss this one.

The cast works well together, the soundtrack, special effects (a little CGI) are cool.

But the main focus for me his the legacy, it carried the movie to it´s objective until the finale.

I was a real surprise to see the exterminator back after all these years, and here it is another great hommage to the movies of 80s.

Here we have the son of the exterminator taking us father flamethrower to do good deeds, and he begins in Colombia.

Here we can see the value of this production, and the real love for this beloved franchise.

Hope to see more movies like this one.

If you like Vigilante+Death Wish+Warriors than this is the movie for you, it got that real connection and vibe with the 80´s, starting with the music, and the way he deals with the criminals in the most savage way, you will be pleased.

The principal motivation of Jake (the new exterminator) is to pick up his father´s mask and be the exterminator, but he will have to deal with a new Don a guy called Teschio, this guy is number 1 in Detroit (he doesn´t die in this one, so i´m hopefull that this won´t end here) he´s a good villain, but the men working for him, can´t find Jake, they try but they die.

I had a great time watching this on their channel, so It's time to take out the trash.

A decent acting, a strong storyline, some "rough" violence, sums up what we get in this return of the exterminator.

This one is pretty action-packed right from the jump. The opening shows our protagonista in Colombia taking out a kingpin (references to scarface) Rather than being strictly a revenge/vigilante exploit film though, the character development is enough to really feel the bond between the exterminator and is uncle, and makes it easy to root for Jake as he's blastin' his way through the city.

8.5/10.

Director Constantino digs deep in the life of the exterminator´s son, proving that violence is the only way to stop the killings and the siege from the enemy´s that prey on society.

Jake Eastland ins´t a superhuman, just a quiet, reflective man wielding a very, very big flamethrower, in a dark savage world.

A vigilante is walking the streets of Detroit, dispatching villains using various methods, his name is the exterminator, never saw the old ones, but like this one.

Now i must see them.

This gritty, violent slice of a movie, brings the pain to the scumbags that prey the innocents.

He hardly used the flamethrower, but i hope to see it more in the future.

It's not exactly original, but is well-written enough to stand on its own as an effective thriller without being overshadowed by more popular films in the genre.

I quite like The Exterminator Retribution, this movie is a major keeper for me.

Indeed this all-out action, and includes a huge battle in the end with the exterminator taking out some baddies in an amazing way.

The final fifteen minutes are sheer bliss for the action lover who's looking for a good time.

This movie is so eye-blindingly beautiful I can't find the words to properly end my commentary and render justice to this cinematic masterpiece.

This thriller is quite good a lean, mean and nasty way of wasting bad guys.

There are some intense interplays, and a disturbing moment or two, but in the end it's not particularly gripping like I would have hoped, i wanted more depth within the characters, the soundtrack is satisfying, and the conclusion is begging for a sequel.

But overall a good revenge flick.

A one man band is Rui Constantino. High ratings and suspect reviews for all his short films that can be charitably referred to as fan fiction if not misrepresentation and copyright infringement. I found out about 'Retribution' and gave it go as a fan of the legit 'Exterminator'. I wasn't impressed but I wasn't harsh either in the review I wrote.

He didn't like my opinion. First came downvotes before reaching out to IMDb and getting them to delete my review to this and the sequel in 'Don Teschio's Revenge' I left, but you can't bury the truth.

Before John Eastland died he gave Uncle Tom (no joke) a note to pass to his son Jake (writer, director, star Rui) when it was time. He reveals his secret, passing on the mantle of being the city's protector. Jake battles thugs, corrupt cops on route to a finale with mobster Don Teschio.

If you love no budget film school projects trying to pass themselves off as something real then this is your jam. Pieces of guerrilla filmmaking in public (fire truck going by, woo!) or bought stock footage. An extreme love for greenscreen makes up the appearances of the new Exterminator CGI gunfire and all, but that's his thing big time. Don't think anything else needs to be said other than if he has this review deleted too, I'll upload a third one.

This movie is bad to the bone.

Director Rui Constantino recreates the legendary one man army the exterminator with another powerfull new flamethrower, that kills all bad guys, leaving to rotten in the sun.

Lots of weapons, explosions, pursuit, fear, suspense fills the gritty movie.

All in all, I'd strongly recommend this film to everyone interested in vigilante flicks "The Exterminator Retribution" is surely an unforgettable experience. 8 out of 10.

I saw this one on release day on their channel, and somehow i was mesmerized how they pulled it off with a low budget like this, it has that vibe of grindhouse classics and lots of blood, the violence in the late 70's showed more realistic and depressing popular culture, showing the dark side of New York City (full of low lifes, street criminals, drug dealers, drug addicts, underage prostitution, disgusting pedophiles and slimy perverts) So in this first chapter we see him take on a criminal organization led by one mob leader Teschio (D. Dias) so we know it won´t be a easy fight has he struggles with his legacy of the old path done by his father, i liked this backstory wish there was more of it, but that´s not the case here.

The soundtrack is good.

"The Exterminator Retribution" will become a cult classic among the exploitation cinema in time, but like the other flicks from this genre it's not indicated for the general audience...

The First Exterminator film is a cult classic among fans of Revenge and exploitation flicks.

Now we have his son that picks up his mantle and starts killing everyone of a mob organization led by a godfather called Don Teschio, this guy is in charge of everything in the city, so the young man will have a difficult task at hands, in this movie he destroys warehouses of dope, a pier, and an industrial complex.

This movie reminded a lot of golden years of Cannon, so it his my pleasure to give it a 9.

I don´t even know this saga, but this movie is really good, it brings back the old street justice feeling, it knows what it wants and it takes us on to follow the path the exterminator´s son makes for himself.

A true dramatic and action movie that brings on the goods, and delivers.

This is a vigilante movie in every sense, His circle of vigilantism extends beyond low-level thugs too. He even goes after a mafia boss, exterminating all his men.

In need of an exterminator. I think the answer is yes.
