Seeing the low ratings on IMDb, I expected this movie to be garbage but nevertheless, I decided to watch it based purely on the plot summary which sounded interesting. This movie is far better than I expected. It's a semi humorous teen horror movie with semi adult themes similar to Fright Night with a bit of the feel of American Pie sex themes. I rather enjoyed the movie and it held my interest. If cults and sacrifice and teen sex are movie themes you like and you liked the two before mentioned films, you'll probably like this. I hate to admit, my only grip is that it wasn't more visceral and had the nudity toned down.
Funny and fun. It felt like a horror movie version of Superbad, but not as good.
Some of it was clunky, but overall it was really entertaining. Torn between 6-7/10
The lead was a little too flat as the straightman, which is a bummer since his buddy was great on screen and it would have been nice if there was a little more chemistry between them.
Story and ending themselves were both fun. The last scene they stuck on the end was super bad though. They should have ended it when the story came to a conclusion or had a better epilogue.

College student Neil is in real trouble, his parents are part of a cult, and have encouraged him to remain a virgin, for a sinister purpose.
I love that in so many productions it's an Englishman that's cast as a villain, Cary Elwes is amusing as Sheldon, he has a great voice. He's physically quite amusing too.
Some of the production values look a little cheap at times, but it doesn't matter, it's not trying to be something other then an amusing b movie.
It's not exactly a laugh out loud fest, more the type of film that will have you sniggering at times, it has to be said though that Jesse Carere and Daryl Sabara are both very charismatic, and worthy leads.
Worth a giggle. 6/10.

At a mercifully brief 80 minutes Teen Lust does its best not to overstay its welcome, but even at that length, the jokes in this Canadian teen "horror comedy" spoof are starting to wear gossamer thin by the second half.
The first act has the lion's share of laughs and surprises as we are introduced to high school buddies and virgins Neil and Matt, who, themselves and their families, are part of a suburban Satanic worshipping church. Neither realises, unlike their parents and the other members, that a ceremony held just prior to Neil's 18th birthday will involve the young virgin lad being sacrificed to Satan. Neil escapes the knife of cult leader Sheldon played by a lovingly over-acting Cary Elwas and he and Matt thereafter engage in a continuous chase over the ensuing night, attempting to both evade pursuing Satanists, while trying to bust their cherries and thereby make their capture irrelevant.
Although promoted as such, there's no serious horror in this flick, which, despite its title, adopts an incredibly prim and proper perspective to the premise of 2 supposedly randy young guys trying desperately to bed any available females. There's more nudity in the theatrical release poster than in the film. Surely all Canadians don't continually try to bonk each other with their clothes on, as suggested in this movie, including inside brothels? And why do the boys continually make themselves very visible on the sides of busy, well - lit roads, if they are trying to hide from those hunting them?
There's a few giggles to be had involving Neil's skill with card tricks and Annie Clark is a welcome presence, as his true flame Denise, but Teen Lust does suffer a few identity problems in the second half, where it doesn't seem to quite know whether to ramp up the laughs or the thrills of the chase. All in all, it's a mildly amusing diversion of short duration, guaranteed not to leave any lasting memories, good or otherwise.

Not sure why the ratings are so low (currently 4.8) cause this is perfectly watchable for a comedy-horror.
Perhaps they expected a lot of nudity because of the title and poster (not much in that department) and felt duped and rated it low because of that, I don't know.
Sure it's no masterpiece or anything but it's never flat out dull and the characters are pretty funny.
It's about a teenage guy who's been selected as a virgin sacrifice for a satanic cult, in order to prevent that from coming true he needs to get laid or die trying ASAP, and that's pretty much the movie.
So not Shakespeare exactly and some minor flaws but if you dug 'THE FINAL GIRLS (2015)' or 'HELL BABY (2013)' or the like I don't see why you wouldn't dig this enough.
