Kings of the Road: The Story of the Portland Buckaroos

Material for the film's Return of the Buckaroos sequence, was shot during three of the Buckaroos reunion's held at the Portland Memorial Coliseum and Rose Garden arenas. All reunion's had about 10,000 people in attendance.

An alternate shorter version of Kings of the Road(24 minutes) was produced for a Portland Buckaroos event on March 16th 2009. The film was broken into three parts and projected for an audience of nearly 10,000 fans during the periods of a regulation game between the Portland Winterhawks and the Seattle Thunderbirds. This version has a slightly different soundtrack by Tom Barber. He reworked it for the longer 96 minute version.
