I loved this for its difference from the American show, yet still retaining elements. I loved the diversity of the German fab 5, much more diverse than the US fab 5. The personal looks and styles of these guys are more out in terms of what Americans can deal with on their screens and what Germans can. The most negative reviews are coming from people who don't get that everything does not have to be done the American way. One guy is complaining about boomers in a Europe? What relevance does that have here, the fab 5 and the two guests I have seen so far are wayyy younger than boomers (who are hitting their 70s now) - yep, so don't know what you meant there mate. Don't expect the people in the show to relate to people the same way that the American fab 5 and their guests relate. Germany is a very different society that has evolved from very different circumstances than the US. So I ask you to please clear your mind of expectation that the German show will be the same as the American show. Because it is a different culture you might not understand everything the hosts do, how they interact with their guests, and the fashion choices. Get over it. The biggest problem I had, and it was a big one, was queer eye Japan where the fab 5 went to Japan knowing very little about Japanese culture and bossed Japanese people around loudly. That show's super cringe factor demonstrates that local presenters are needed in different countries.
Almost as great as the original American series! Except that the guy who finds new outfits is absolutely without talent, taste or style. I know Germans are not known for their chicness exactly...however in such a huge country Im sure there would be several thousand more able stylists than the one they unfortunately cast. Such a shame because the other guys are fab, especially the hairdresser and the interior decorator. So ALMOST good! But no matter what, I will recommend it, it is a sympathetic show which will brighten your day and enhance the lives of the chosen 'protagonist' of each episode.

At first I was a bit scared that the German show wouldn't be as good as the American version of queer eye. But when i started watching I realised how it was just as enjoyable as the original version! It was really nice to see the German representation on screen! I felt like the heroes could have been my neighbours as well! I am really hoping for a next season, it would be great to see themes like racism or transsexuality to be topics of the show as Germany lacks acceptance of these minorities!
If you like the original show then you will love the German version for sure!!

Loved everything about the show. The Fab 5 are the best and I loved their diversity. I wish there were more episodes because I couldnt get enough of it.
I loved every minute of it! I binged all episodes in two days and now I'm sad, I don't get to watch anymore 😅 I love the German fab5 just as much as the American fab5. It's heartwarming, touching, educational, funny.... Go watch!!

Loved the US Version already, but love the German one just as much. Cried almost every episode, because it is just so emotional and heartwarming. I am really hoping for another season, 5 episodes are just not enough.

I have never before seen a TV show which emphasized deficits as much as this show. There is rarely a scene where the episodes victim (supposedly main person) is not demeaned or judged. Solutions are purely based off what the team wants, with zero input from the (again) victim of the episode.
Great show with an authentic cast! The focus is to help the different characters in difficulty life situations. The cast has the skills to motivate and to change their patients. 😉 Follow the show and have relaxing hours.

The Fab 5 really are a great team and everyone has such a great personality. Even though I unfortunately don't know the Fab 5 personally, they all convey a feeling of understanding and that you're not alone, no matter what problems you have or what lifelong situation you're in.
The Fab 5 are definitely great role models and I think it's more than worth watching the series.

Thanks for this! Easy to watch and also funny. All characters are authentic and special. It won't be boring to watch, even if you think you know already this type of tv show. Especially Aljosha is so sympatic, love how he combines normality with extraordinarily.

...I did not expect to love the German version just as much as the original but there we are. There's so much heart involved and it's so lovely to see everyone blossom and finding themselves. Netflix, we need another season!
Episodes 4 and 5 were my favorites, it also felt like in these episodes the fab 5 finally felt like a family too. Love Eugene, love the Fab Fünf - especially David and Ayan ;) !
Loved the Show, waiting for the next episodes - I hope it can open the eyes of many in terms of how amazing and also normal queerness is or must be. Much love 2 u all <3.

To be honest, I was sceptical if the German version of Queer Eye could work. But it does. Some elements are even "better" than in the US edition, in my opinion, e. G. Aljosha with his expertise in health and nutrition gives advice to the candidates way beyond food and cooking. And of course, Queer Eye Germany is such an important show when it comes to the representation of the many facettes, live styles, identities we can have as human beings <3... I only wish there were more episodes!

I was worried that this wasn't going to be as good as the original, but I shouldn't have been, because Queer Eye Germany is absolutely just as heartwarming and sweet and entertaining as it's US counterpart. The Fab Fünf are so wonderful, I couldn't think of a better team for this show. Also, trans representation!! I really really hope there will be more episodes in the future.
If you are feeling sad or overwhelmed right now and you are looking for something to feel good, do yourself a favor and watch Queer Eye Germany. It is the best show I have seen in a long time (I watch a lot of shows ...) and I enjoyed every minute of my two day binge watch marathon.
I laughed, I cried, I was speechless, I was impressed, I felt inspired and empowered. The Fab Five couldn't be more perfect. Each and everyone of them is such an amazing human being. So supportive, sensitive, so full of energy, generous, kind and considerate.
Let's start with Aljosha, because he is the reason, why I found out about this show. I am a huge fan of his youtube channel and love him for his great sense of humor. I am really impressed by how he finds such a good balance between being educational and informative and having a certain seriousness while also being so easygoing, fun, apppreciative and understanding.
Ayan seems like such a cutie. He has a great sense of design and aesthetic and really feels and understand the needs of the participants. I love how he wants to get to know the person and respects their belongings and individuality so much but still manages to create something new and beautiful. The spaces he redesigns are really thought through and customized to fit each persons lifestyle.
David is exactly the sass I need! I love her style and her infectious smile and attitude. She is funny, outspoken and she gives me the vibes of being that friend that stands up for you. I love how she cares so deeply about the wellbeing of the participants. Everytime she styles someone or gives a massage you can tell that she really enjoys connecting with people, making them feel good and giving them such a wonderful experience. It makes me happy too!
Jan-Henrik - I want one in my life too! He impressed me so much, because everytime he went shopping with someone he knew exactly what to choose to make the participant like what they are seeing in the mirror. He seems very thoughtful and sensitive and listens and observes closely how the participants react to certain suggestions so he can select the perfect styles for them. It is fascinating to watch! Every outfit he chooses feels authentic while really enhancing the participants looks. Everyone looks really happy and confident with their new outfits. They all look fabulous!
Leni is such a sweetheart! You can feel that she is speaking from the heart. She spreads such a positive energy and connects with everyone on a deeper level. She always finds the right words and you can feel that the participants like to open up to her. It is really impressive how she does that in the little time they have with everyone. I adore her bubbly personality and her ability to focus so much on another person and listening so carefully to them. She is like the sun, brightening up everyones day!
And of course all my respect goes out to the amazing participants. I loved everyone of them and I hope that all their dreams come true and they can live their best life!!!

I loved each episode. It was heartwarming in these times. The cast is gorgeous, each of them is so loving and heartwarming. Each guest was helped in such a loving way. And each guest deserved it so much. I shed tears. A lot. And it made me hope for better times. I really do hope there will be more seasons. With exact this cast. I'm so much in love.
