Recensioni in evidenza
This movie has probably one of the worst scripts I have seen in a long, long time. The acting is bad, and the directing is even worse. The script sounds like it was written by someone in the 2nd grade. There are holes in just the basic story that are completely moronic. For instance, at the beginning of the movie, his daughter comes to visit her father and he picks her up at the airport. Throughout the rest of the movie, she is meeting up with friends and acts like she just seen them yesterday! I am not sure why or even how these friends exist! The acting and script are stiff and unrealistic. Don't waste your time, it is definitely a "D" movie.
This movie is a total mess, like the director and writer were on a crazy bender when they cooked up this disaster.
The performances are cringe-worthy, and the script feels like it was written by someone who just learned to spell.
The only saving grace is the half-decent cinematography, but that's like putting a Band-Aid on a sinking ship.
Netflix usually delivers, but this one is a major letdown, dragging their reputation through the mud. It's the kind of flick that makes you wonder if they've lost their minds over at Netflix, green-lighting low quality products like this. Save yourself the agony and skip this cinematic catastrophe.

There must be some algorithm at work here. The one true reviewer is the first on who I think was very generous with two stars, every single review after that was 10 stars all of them. The editing was dreadful, the acting was some of the worse I ever seen and as for the narrative it's junk. For example the daughter gets her purse snatched in a market after a small chase she losses him and bag and bumps into her dad's neighbour. The neighbour calls the daughters dad saying she misplaced her purse, and can he go and find it. That evening, he turns up with a purse., how. He must be a psychic with the description of her bag has gone missing. He's able to find it and return it to her with her mobile phone.. it's a tiring embarrassing waste of time and anyone who considers himself an actor in this movie needs to reassess their lives because acting is not for them. Don't waste your time on this film it is one of the worst films I've ever seen. In the moment I'm going to be asked if my review contains any spoilers I'm going to say no because the film is its own spoiler.
(2023) Crossfire
THRILLER
Co-edited, co-produced, written and directed by Yadhu Krishnan that has Mark Patson (Louis Mandylor) part of a anti-criminal task force in New Mexico and him stepping down his role for the intention of spending more time with his teenage daughter, Alisha (Samm Wiechec). At first it looked as if he was an absent father, but as it turned out, his daughter was cutting him out of her life as a result of him being somewhat responsible of his wife/ mom's death. Mark was also infamous for bringing down the "Gorilla Gang" and his wife was gunned down for retribution. He picks her up at the airport and during the movie, we learn more about their relationship as well as the helpful neighbor, Miriam (Lori Pelenise). Mark also used to work in Special Forces and he trains his daughter to defend herself as well a shoot. And while there, she also meets up with some old friends such as Viola whop still hangs out with some bad people. Viewers are wondering whether Mark will ever catch the killer of his wife.
One of the major problems with this movie is the fact although he taught her how to use a fire arm as well her being just as good as him, he does not even arm her toward the end, when the killer is on the loose. Nor does he have law enforcement to look out for her. My rating might've been lower as a result of those inconsistencies but the direction is not the most cringe worthy I had ever seen. And the action is just a few fight scenes!

As some honest reviews have said the story is full of plot holes which don't even try add up ie: the hero just happens to show up in a place they have no reason to be to save the day at exactly the right time, people that end up dead don't get reported missing. The acting is bad now some of that can be blamed on the director who should have been fired, but the actors weren't good either. All round there is no saving grace for this movie unless you are using it for a drinking game where you take a shot.eveytime someone shakes hands. This movie also has one of the worst endings I've seen in years. Does this review contain spoilers no because they is nothing to spoil.
