Doppelgänger

For fans of doppelgänger horror, this short film should be a real treat. It's actually quite well-made, with a couple of interesting plot twists. To be honest, they were somewhat predictable-but still entertaining and effective.

The protagonist is played by Orion Smith, who, as I understand it, appears as young Ed Warren in the 2025 horror film The Conjuring: Last Rites. It's a nice step forward in his career, and it's interesting to watch him perform in this earlier short.

As for the film itself, the acting is solid across the board, and I really liked the sound design-calm, but subtly unsettling.
