This show.... WOW... wtf are the producers thinking? Is their next move to hire a stock car driver to preform brain surgery? Take a woman who is respected in the music industry and ask her to perform a job she's not suited for on multiple levels and...? If the plan was to shoot around the bored faces in the audience, how's that working out? I am a huge Jennifer fan, she has a great voice, no one can deny her ability. Jennifer's personality and her dictation are unsuitable for the position of talk show host. I literally change the channel whenever she tries to string more than two sentences together, I just can't watch it anymore.

Jennifer Hudson is an extremely talented singer. I love her songs but you can't understand half the things she says on her talk show, her grammar is atrocious. She uses contractions, slang and garbles her words.

As a talk show host she needs to learn how to enunciate. I've actually had to put captions on so it types up the word it thinks she's saying because she's not understandable. Her guess are entertaining and that is the only reason I watch the show but when she does her introduction rambling I leave the room.

I can't believe her producers don't realize that she's not understandable when she speaks and talk to her about it it could be easily corrected.

I had previously left a review, which was positive. I love Jennifer Hudson - she's an amazing singer - but I've always been on the fence about her talk show. Like a few other people, I noticed she has a thick southern accent. It's weird considering she grew up in Chicago, so I don't know how she developed this Alabama twang she has going on. I found it to be irritating. But over time I learned to ignore that and I started enjoying her show. I love that her guests are musicians in addition to actors and actresses, since I'm a music junkie as much as I am a film and TV show enthusiast. As for one downside: sometimes her guests are uninteresting and haven't done anything special to become famous (like Khloe Kardashian). I noticed some reviewers pointed out that the games she plays with the audience are idiotic. I didn't agree. I thought the games were fun and gives the audience a chance to participate, unlike on other talk shows, where they just sit there and watch the people on stage converse. Well, the episode I watched today changed everything I thought about her show. I felt so strongly that I deleted my original review. First off, she was interviewing David and Victoria Beckham's son, Brooklyn (I have no idea why he's famous, other than for who his parents are. To be honest, I don't even see a resemblance. It just exemplifies that a physically attractive man and woman don't always make the cutest kids). He did an advert for Silk milk, recreating the Got Milk ad his father did back in 2006. After the commercial break, him and another guest she interviewed, I'm assuming at the beginning, were playing a game with two audience members. They were wearing goggles and hats with cups on top. I don't know how the game worked, because other people were in the room, so I was dividing my attention between watching that and talking to them, but it seemed like each question Brooklyn Beckham and the other guest got wrong, Silk milk was poured into their cups. The one audience member's cup filled all the way to the top, causing the milk to spill down into her face. I hate to see food being wasted. With all of the children in the US who are living in poverty, and not getting enough nourishment as a result, it was deplorable to use perfectly fresh milk for a game. Celebrities live in a sheltered, out of touch bubble. I thought her show was unique, but now I see I was wrong. It's not even worth tuning in anymore. I know her games are supposed to be ridiculous, but that went too far. Either be consistent with the quality (one day it's like an episode of iCarly, the next day it's geared towards adults), or take it off the daytime lineup. I really do believe the crap that's on television is encouraging people to be ignorant and stupid. I don't even know why I bother with talk shows. They're so dumb, and they don't even represent how people have conversations in the general population. Please cancel and replace with a program of substance!

Jennifer needs to stick to singing. A talk show host, she is not. Her diction is atrocious. If you are going to be a talk show host, you need to know how to talk. Her guest are fabulous, that's the only reason why I watch the show and at 5:00pm when I watch, there is literally nothing on but the news. Her outfits are horrible. She sounds so "country" though she comes from Chicago. Dreamgirls was one of her best movies, she really needs to stick to acting because a talk show host, she is not. Her audience (if she could ever say that word correctly) seems very boring as well. Really sad show to me. It's July 20th and I'm watching and I still feel the same about this show. Again, the guest are great but a talk show host is not the job for Jennifer Hudson.🤔 Can somebody tell me about how many times Jennifer has said the word "amazing" since her show premiered back in 2022? It's now August 2023 and I swear of all of the talk show hosts put together, I bet she's said "amazing" like a gazillion times!😳 It's January 29, 2024 and I'm still watching because like I said, Jennifer has the best guest, today, the man, the legend Charlie Wilson was her guest and he did not disappoint! Charlie was the bomb!! However, I need to know whycome...yes I said, whycome Jennifer, when it's time for a commercial always asks her guest if they would "stick around?" Where the hell are they gonna go Jennifer? They are in the middle of an interview with talk show host Jennifer Hudson on the Jennifer Hudson Show! Where are they gonna go??? OF COURSE they are gonna "stick around" Duh? Just try saying..."we'll be right back after the break" or something along those lines! God bless Jennifer Hudson!

I can't quite put my finger on it but there's no life in it. All of the humor comes from the guests, there's always a delayed reaction or a pause from Jennifer and her questions are literally coming from flash cards. I can tell the guests are doing most of the work to keep the humor. ALLLLL of these new talk show hosts ALLLL sing the same! It's beginning to feel like people are being chosen because of their race and not their talent. Unfortunately, this is not Jenn's forte, sorry. It would be nice though, to see someone like Carson Kressley giving it a try. He is alive, has experience and humor.
