I love this show for my children. There are not many shows like this. The characters are diverse so children will feel represented within the super-heroes. The show sends a very strong message about kindness and that it is ok and good to feel your emotions. This is such an important message for children--and adults too! What I like is that the show says common things that kids say or hear around them such as "that's weird" and then the superhero will comment with "that is unkind" , the reason behind it, and how one can be kind. In other words, the show explicitly tells the viewers what the kind thing to do is. After watching an episode you can spark a conversation with children about the issue it spoke on. This is a show I hope goes on to have lots of seasons so my kids can enjoy. I understand there is another show that other reviewers mention that it reminds them of. I do not let my kids watch that other show because I do not find much value in it. Action Pack, on the other hand, I find valuable.
My kid likes this show and that's all that matters, however this is essentially Hero Elementary from PBS Kids... just with better animation. It's not a bad show, just been done before.
Another education show involving superheroes, Action Pack revolves around Watts, Clay, Treena, and Wren, four kids with superpowers that attend the Action Academy, a school that trains future superheroes. Under the watchful eyes of their mentor, Mr. Ernesto, and his robot dog, Plunky, they protect the town of Hope Springs against villains while keeping with their mentor's motto: be smart, be safe, be superheroes.
As I said, this is another superhero-themed educational show in the vein of shows like PJ Masks and Spidey And His Amazing Friends. Each episode has the team of four taking on villains while learning valuable lessons , although like PJ Masks, it has one of the heroes making mistakes before realizing his or her mistake). Also, their transformations come from wearing hoodies, which is basically like how the PJ masks wear pajamas to transform. However, the series has interesting characters that are original, including villains like Dinah Rex and Cold Snap, and the lessons are good. Despite being a near copy of PJ Masks, this is a good series for young kids.

Practically the same as PJ Masks except they've tried to be noticeably more inclusive with cast. It is a shame the creators could not have come up with something a bit more original, the cast even have practically the same costumes as in PJ Masks! If this programme had been for a university assignment I'm pretty sure it would have failed for copying another programme.
At first I thought another PJ mask which my 3 year old is not allowed to watch anymore because I felt it wasn't a good model for my child. Stay up all night and sneak out of the house. Not to mention no diversity in the main characters. Then the use of negative name calling ie bird brain. Then the antagonist I'll get you next time.
Action pack was refreshing. They always turn a negative into a positive in the antagonist and talk about why the negative behaviors are happening and what they can do to help. Also the main characters make mistakes and use those to teach lessons. Also there are 2 mini episodes which helps since the attention span of toddlers is short and if tv time is restricted this helps.
I know the characters look similar but there are only so many ways to do masked superhero. I hope this show continues to give more restrictived views more things to watch. My son love it.
