Loved it.

Watched the first four episodes one after the other and thoroughly enjoyed this rather adult, quirky, dark comedy. Jason Priestly is in fine form as the lead and great to see him really acting again. The other characters, all weird in their own little ways, blend together nicely with him into a working but dysfunctional family of colleagues in a car sales lot. The reason Fitz is the way he is becomes apparent the more you watch this and you realize there are some serious issues beneath the surface. If you liked 'John from Cincinnati' you will love this as they are very similar.

Highly recommend.

Never a fan until.

Probably the last of the great adult comedy to not pull any punches. I was never a fan of Jason Priestly, I didn't dislike, if there was a Jason Priestly movie or series, I would past until Call Me Fritz. This show caused me to appreciate Jason Priestly acting talents. I will never binge watch 90210. I have a great appreciation for his work in the movie Tombstone and his other projects. This new found appreciation started with this show.

Great show for two out of three seasons.

Out of all the 90210 alum, I think Jason Priestley really went out of his way to play the opposite of his 90210 character. Nothing could be farther from his Brandon Walsh character than his portrayal of Fitz Fitzpatrick, a boozing, womanizer who has the morals of a used car salesman, which he is.

I have to say the entire cast is amazing and the first season was really funny. I binge watched it and thought it was fantastic and outrageous.

The problem with a show that's an over the top representation of such an amoral protagonist is that after the first season, it has to top the craziness, which you can tell by the second season is going to be hard. It's still good, but not quite as good.

By the time the third season rolls around you can tell quite obviously that they are pushing so hard to get as far out there as possible that it feels like you're watching different characters than you've seen the past two seasons.

That push comes at the expense of all the things that made the first season amazing and hooked you.

I had a hard time finishing the third season and only did so with the determination that I would finish the series. It's the ultimate example of the law of diminishing returns.

Jason Priestley is brilliant as Fitz and he's obviously the stand out.

I recommend you watch the first two seasons and skip the third. It'll preserve the characters you've grown to like, because you will not like the situations and directions season three goes in.

Meatloaf said it best, "two out of three ain't bad."

Absolutely Amazing Show, Genius

Call me Fitz has been successful in pleasing me in every episode. I found the first couple episodes to be mildly slow, but very humorous. The real treat starts when you start to get to know the characters and how they act, the directors and the actors themselves do an amazing job in character development.

I'm currently following the 3rd season, and I can say without a reasonable doubt, that it is by far the best season yet. I can't wait for season 4! |

Check the show out! Crude adult humour! Genuine!

Watch Without Kids!

Hilarious! There's a lot of swearing and adult content so, don't watch with kids. A definite if you're a Jason Priestley fan.

Nice Surprise

As a Canadian ex-pat I am always sure to check out some of the TV offerings from north of the border and usually I am very disappointed by all the shows I see, both in comedy and in drama. Other than "Orphan Black" there hasn't been too much to rave about from my home country on an ongoing basis since the days of Kids in the Hall, etc. Even "Hockey Night in Canada" is not very reliable any more since it moved to the new network with new personnel (seriously, I like George Strombo but as a hockey host he is terrible, terrible, terrible!)

So I was very pleasantly surprised by this show, "Call Me Fitz." I hadn't even heard of it and a friend from Toronto turned me onto it, so I figured why not try it out, and it's great! Very funny and Jason Priestly (a Canuck don't-ya-know) is great as a morally bankrupt car salesman with mental problems/visions.

It really flew under the radar but lasted a few seasons and is well worth checking out!

This isn't a comedy

This just isn't funny. I watched the first two episodes and I must say they were bordering on painful. It's just dull. The characters are for the most part vanilla.....Canadian vanilla. The exception being Jason Priestly but even with Priestly pulling out all the stops, the humor still falls flat.

I can't really say where it went wrong, other than the concept itself is pretty weak. A morally bankrupt used car salesman gets involved in an accident and for some reason his conscience manifests itself in physical form and helps him attempt to become a better person through a series of misadventures and foibles.

For his conscience to actually project itself in the physical world as a separate entity is just stupid. It might work if it were an internal struggle with Priestly playing both sleazy and conscientious roles. As it is, it's not really even a good time waster.

Twisted funny

Sonically hilarious, be patient and it gets even more messed up each episode. ld also like to reply to the review that stated this isnt a comedy... simply watching the first 2 episodes of any show and quitting on it is exactly what is wrong with tv these days... if everyone quit game if thrones by the 3rd episode (like I almost did) we would all be missing out on tv greatness.

Love the concept, Hate the Dialogue

Obscenity loaded dialogue is not cool, just crass and lazy. I would have loved to follow how the story would play out, but the vulgarity detracts from the picture rather than supports it.

Fantastic

Wonderful show! Great writing and love it!!! Larry is a bit annoying yet hopefully he dies soon. Jason plays a great role and the profanity is perfect. Nothing less than masterpiece in my mind. I hope it runs for a while as I hope it works out for everyone. Not enough skin in the show if any yet what do you expect. keep up the great work Jason. What more can I say I love the receptionist and Fitz ring a ding ding is great. Love the old school lines and all the other one liners. Larry's names by Fitz are classic and he deserves everything he gets from Fitz. The other guys across the street are hilarious. How much tail can Fitz get who knows yet I wish I could get a fraction of it ha ha ha ha...

Call Me Fitz Is The Cat's Ass!

This has to be one of the best written, best acted, best produced and best directed shows on TV today!Chock full of raunchy adult humor,over-the-top,and offbeat characters.A totally unique show concept!I can't get enough of the handsome,ultra-talented Jason Priestley as the morally-challenged Fitz, played against the amazing Ernie Grunwald his "do right", out-of-body-conscience,Larry.The whole show is smartly written, brilliantly acted and a joy to watch! I am also proud to say that the Fitzgerald Car Sales Lot is located near my home and my brother-in-law,Geof,had the awesome opportunity to "strut his stuff" on the dance floor as an extra in Episode 6. I met Jason a few years back while he was in Chester filming a movie. He came to Lunenburg to do an interview on Good Morning America, which was doing a live show there, and I was privileged to be his umbrella holder during his interview with, then host,Joan Lunden,as it was pouring rain LOL "Call Me Fitz"is the cats' ass! Can't wait for the next episode!

Too good - so strange - yet so good!

I watched one episode (Mayor Andrews - because of Joe Flaherty) I enjoyed it but didn't get the whole story. Decided to start at the beginning. OMG!!!! What a fabulous, odd, bizarre and entertaining show. Recommend it highly as long as you are open minded - sexy (not sex) stuff, language and situations. You know adult not child stuff. I can't tell you how funny and odd it is. Joe Flaherty put it best - he was scheduled to guest star. He couldn't believe it was airing - couldn't believe the writer / creator could come up with such stuff. I'm glad she did! One of my favorite shows and never knew anything about Jason Priestly before this show . Love it!
