Hoping to make a girlfriend and spend Christmas together with, Hak-soo goes on blind dates with Ji-goo, Ji-yeon, and So-hee respectively. Surprisingly, these three women are heavy drinkers. Unlike what Hak-soo expected, the blind dates are too dynamic for him to handle.

So-hee gets fed up at work because of Director Kang and she caught her juniors talking about her behind her back. Ji-goo is cursed by a kid saying she is a loser. No matter how bad their days are, they feel better as long as they get together and drink.

Ji-yeon used to have perfect skin and she is shocked to find a zit on her face. So-hee becomes forgetful at work and she goes to see the doctor. Ji-goo gets a cramp in her rib while she is filming a video on her channel. They are frustrated as they are all told to stop drinking.

So-hee accidentally kisses Book-goo at a team dinner and tries to forget about the embarrassing moment by drinking with Ji-goo and Ji-yeon. However, it turns out that Book-goo is dating their team's intern, and she threatens to sue So-hee for what happened.

We learn how So-hee, Ji-yeon, and Ji-goo met in college. But now, their friendship will be pushed to its limits. What will happen to the Drinking Buddies without any drinking?

The reason why Ji Yeon and So Hee quit their past jobs starts from the chairman of Ji Yeon's workplace. As for Ji Goo, it starts with a student who is going through something that many people around her cannot understand. Although the three girls were working hard in their own occupations, fate does not allow it to last.

Ji Yeon gets demoted to working at a dog farm for ignoring Chairman Park's advances, and So Hee finds out that Chairman Park requested someone else to write his autobiography. However, she asks for another chance to meet him. Meanwhile, Ji Goo's student confides in her regarding a personal matter.

For the first time in ten years, the three friends visit a sashimi restaurant they used to visit in Gyeongpodae. When the owner of the restaurant brings out an old photo of the three girls as college students, they begin reminiscing about their embarrassing past.

So-hee, while at her office as usual, receives a phone call and heads straight to her hometown. Ji-goo also takes a taxi straight to So-hee's hometown, but Ji-yeon somehow wouldn't pick up her phone. All three girls eventually gather at So-hee's father's funeral, and they silently share the sadness of losing the loved one.

So-hee is still not in her right mind, but she returns home before going back for the last farewell. She can't sleep, and she won't eat. But for some reason, she would fall asleep only when she's with Book-goo. Now that she's finally asleep, she waits quietly in her dream for her dad to come to say his final goodbye.

So-hee's feelings for Director Kang slowly start to grow. However, when she wakes up at his house in the morning, she sees the intern, So-hyun, with him nonchalantly without a care in the world which stings her heart. Later, she learns something even more serious about their previous relationship that crumbles her.

The girls gather yet again to talk about their current stressful matters. Ji-yeon tops them all off as she announces a serious issue about herself. Also, So-hee is devastated as the last episode of her team's variety show is in total chaos. Book-goo eventually comes up with an idea, but So-hee most definitely hates it.
