For me this was a great movie. The characters were well written and the story is interesting. The camera perspective was done well and for me innovative too. The action scenes were also well done and the music was good implemented.

I liked the plot in italy and the struggle between the old world and the new. Some scenes were in a way implemented, that you would think the current situation is based on what happend in the past shown in the movie. The movie will let you think about the correlation between the past actions and the current situation in the world.

All in all I can recommend this movie for everyone who likes a little bit action with humor and historic background.

After his brother and his boss disappear, three teenagers are accidentally thrust back to Mussolini's 1939. They are the usual crew: the over emotional one, the clueless nerd, and the young woman who serves as the center and strength. And they meet another young woman who is a very tough anti-fascist.

Their adventures are the usual tropes done in a interesting way as the world in which they land seems dark and almost dystopian (at one point they end up looking like "Mad Max" escapees).

The cast is superb and appealing, with a couple of great villains (my most important criterion), and there are strong messages about family, love (including same sex), and fighting fascism.

The only negative is the irritating use of music at a couple of places.

A group of youngsters activate some futuristic looking technology, which transports them back in time, back to a Rome 1939, ahead of the start of the second world war.

It's an Italian film, I watched it with subtitles, it represents a very interesting time in Italy's history.

It's not the most original story, it's been done many times over, but it is always an interesting concept, seeing people from the present day transported back in time. You see Gen Z have to deal with the mindsets of the time, the fascists and general ideas of everyday people, it made for some interesting moments, but I found the coming of age elements a little cheesy.

The sets are pretty good, the visuals are perhaps the best aspect of the film, some pretty good special effects too. That scene where the time machine sprang to life looked great.

The acting was good, strong performances all round.

If you like time travel stories, you may enjoy it.
