Suspenseful , Good Cinematography , Good Direction

This film is an absolute adrenaline rush from start to finish, delivering a gripping, edge-of-your-seat experience that keeps you hooked. From the very beginning, you are thrown into a world full of suspense, where every moment builds anticipation. The tension is carefully constructed, keeping you at the edge of your seat and fully immersed in the story. The narrative moves at a fast pace, giving the audience no time to predict what might happen next, which is truly the hallmark of great scriptwriting. It's one of those rare films where you simply cannot foresee the twists and turns that lie ahead, keeping you fully engaged throughout its runtime.

One of the strongest aspects of this film is its brilliantly structured screenplay. Suspense thrillers live and die by their ability to keep audiences guessing, and this film does exactly that. The unpredictability of the plot is a testament to the writers' ability to craft an intricate story that is both complex and easy to follow. Every twist feels organic, making the surprises even more satisfying. From scene to scene, you're left wondering how it will all unfold, and the payoff is genuinely worth the wait.

Beyond the sharp script, the acting performances in this film truly elevate it to another level. Riteish Deshmukh delivers one of the best performances of his career. Known more for his comedic roles, Riteish showcases his versatility here, proving that he is just as adept in serious, intense roles. His portrayal is both layered and impactful, and he brings a sense of vulnerability and strength to his character that makes you root for him throughout the film. His expressions, body language, and delivery are all on point, and it's clear that he has poured his heart into this role.

Equally impressive is Fardeen Khan, who makes a strong comeback in this film. It's refreshing to see him back on screen, and he doesn't miss a beat. His performance is intense and compelling, and he holds his own in scenes with Riteish. Fardeen's character is complex, and he brings a mix of charm, intensity, and mystery to the role that keeps you guessing about his motivations and next moves. His return to the silver screen is a triumphant one, and fans will be delighted to see him back in action. The chemistry between Riteish and Fardeen is another highlight, as their dynamic creates some of the film's most intense moments.

What really sets this film apart from other thrillers is how well it balances high-octane action sequences with deep, emotional storytelling. While there are plenty of scenes designed to keep your heart racing, there's also a significant emotional core to the story, which makes the characters and their struggles feel real and relatable. The film does a great job of blending action, suspense, and emotion, which is a difficult balance to achieve in thrillers. There are moments of tension where the action pauses just long enough for you to reflect on the stakes at hand, allowing for deeper engagement with the characters' journeys.

In addition to the strong acting and storytelling, the direction deserves a special mention. The director has done an excellent job of pacing the film, ensuring that the audience remains fully engaged throughout. The cinematography is crisp, with tight, suspense-filled shots that enhance the tension and keep you guessing. The action scenes are well-choreographed, never over-the-top, and always serving the story rather than overshadowing it. The soundtrack also adds to the overall atmosphere, heightening the mood without becoming too overpowering.

If you're a fan of thrillers and enjoy films with strong performances and unpredictable storylines, this film is definitely worth a watch. It's reminiscent of movies like Dhamaka, where the narrative keeps you on edge while delivering top-notch acting performances. Both Riteish Deshmukh and Fardeen Khan shine in their respective roles, and their performances alone make the movie a must-watch.

In conclusion, this film stands out as one of the better thrillers in recent times, blending suspense, action, and emotional depth to create a thrilling experience. It's great to see Fardeen Khan making a return, and Riteish Deshmukh continues to impress with his growing range as an actor. If you're in the mood for a well-acted, suspenseful thriller that keeps you guessing until the very end, this movie should be at the top of your watchlist.

Thank you for reading, and enjoy the ride!

    No effort in copying

We have such an agony that in Bollywood now even for a remake or copying a movie no one is taking an extra initiative or effort to add or create logical scenes as per Indian culture and geographical location. In a first look itself anyone can recognize it's an International copied or remake movie. Our film industry lazy guys are now just copying and pasting the content. Portraying scenes without any logic, promoting extra marital affair, defaming certain areas in Mumbai as Crime Hub shows all in negativity. Fardeen comeback is good but all others actors are OK. A one time watch movie on OTT and not to waste money and time in theatre.

    Stone, paper, scissors.

Shoaib (Fardeen Khan) is working as a cab driver to make ends meet and has a mother suffering from dementia. In order to look after her, he is stuck in Dongri though he had once left it. He has a supportive girlfriend named Lucky who works at a restaurant. Shoaib's friend leaves a jacket while getting arrested and the jacket contains drugs. A fire accident at home has Shoaib's mother misplace the jacket and now Shoaib is in trouble with a lady Don Acid Tai, to whom the drugs belonged. Elsewhere, Akash (Riteish) catches his wife cheating red-handed and in that process, leaves his child at the restaurant, Lucky works at. Things escalate enough for the kid to land up at Shoaib's house and Acid Tai turns it into a kidnapping for ransom. How does Shoaib and Akash get out of this mess, forms rest of the story.

I have not seen the original and still I felt the film to be dated. Produced by Sanjay Gupta and directed by Kookie Gulati, the screenplay simply lacked the highs and intense moments to sell this story. It revolved around the same Dongri being the place for criminals and a couple pretending to live a posh life while in debt, two opposite worlds colliding while neither of them being truly happy in their respective lives. The narrative remains one toned and sadly, there aren't any memorable characters as well. Seema Biswas in her brief appearance is obviously good but even her role is not the main focus. Both Fardeen and Riteish's roles needed better treatment too. Overall, Visfot falls under "been there, seen that" list of films, offering nothing interesting.

Visfot: A Missed Comeback and Wasted Talent

Visfot is a complete waste of 2 hours and 10 minutes. Fardeen Khan, in his attempt to make a comeback, has chosen a story that will likely derail that comeback entirely. Abbas Dalal's writing feels so confused that even Hussain Dalal seems unsure of what to do with the plot.

It's a wasted opportunity for fine actors like Riteish Deshmukh and Sheeba Chaddha, whose talent is completely underutilized here. The kind of movies Jio Cinema picks really makes you wonder if they need to hire a better content acquisition team.

Unless you're looking for a visfot (explosion) in your head, stay far away from this one.

"Fardeen Khan Shines in Thrilling Comeback with Riteish Deshmukh in Visfot"

Visfot, starring Fardeen Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, marks an engaging return for both actors to the silver screen. The movie, directed by Kookie Gulati, is a remake of the Venezuelan film Rock, Paper, Scissors. It's a high-octane thriller with a blend of suspense, drama, and moments of dark humor.

Fardeen Khan, in his comeback role, plays his character with intensity, showcasing his ability to deliver in high-pressure, emotionally charged scenes. Riteish Deshmukh, known for his comic roles, surprises the audience by taking on a more dramatic, serious character. The duo's on-screen chemistry is compelling, as they navigate the tense plot involving crime, betrayal, and moral dilemmas.

The narrative is fast-paced, keeping viewers on edge with twists and turns. While the storyline follows a predictable path at times, the performances and direction make up for the occasional lapses in originality. The cinematography is sleek, giving the film a gritty, urban edge that complements the plot's intensity.

Overall, Visfot is an entertaining thriller that capitalizes on its lead actors' performances, with Fardeen Khan's return being a highlight. It's worth watching for fans of thrillers and those eager to see these actors in new avatars.

Fardeen Khan's comeback to acting after 12 years. Fardeen Khan hold's the record of the only hero in Hindi films to have the longest gap of 12 years between his movie releases. Kamal Haasan's last original Hindi release was Dekha Pyar Tumhara in 1985, and he returned to Hindi films with Chachi 420 in 1997. In between, he had several movies dubbed and released in Hindi. Rajnikanth's last original Hindi release was Bulundi in 2000. He had a special appearance in that film. After that he had several of his films also dubbed in Hindi. Fardeen's father Feroz Khan faced the camera after 11 years gap with Janasheen. The role was of the film's villain. The only other lead actor to return to acting of 12 years was Randhir Kapoor with the film Mother in 1999. Randhir's previous release was the long delayed film Khazana in 1987. The only difference was that Randhir Kapoor came back in a elderly character type role in the film (Though he was promoted in the film's publicity). So that makes Fardeen Khan the only lead actor in Hindi films to have the longest gap between his last and next release. His last release in 2010, Dulha Mil Gaya, saw him in the lead role. In 2022, he returned in a lead role with Visfot, and not a character role.
