Oh my what a snooze fest ...I couldn't wait till finish. With multi cast and story as old as ever. Was yawning throughout . Characters are half baked. Karthi needs to really stop repeating the village stories and try to better his career in otherwise then just hanging onto family and village audience. Aditi Shankar was medicore but a product of nepotism so I am sure she will go the round of 5 films and let's see if there is scope for improvement ..good dancer though. Prakash Raj typical deja vu role no comments. Music was a waste yuvan has lost his way ever since he all religious now. Either way I suggest you give it a miss.
😔😔😔
We love Karthi more than he loves us...Somehow, we hoped that maybe this time, this one time, this unique time he'll come up with a different movie. Even though the trailer already signaled otherwise, still, we had faith that Karthi would not let us down...but, he did...
DELICIOUS
---We're clapping for the cinematography that was so sizzling :D Selvakumar S. K. gave us vibrant moments. The film also had a great yellow color palette that emphasized the heat of the village setting and the 'heat' of the disputes
-Our favorite guy was Thalaiyaar (Viruman's father's assistant), he was so hilarious and sustained the comedy even when the camera wasn't focusing on him. Very nice!
-Fighting sequences, as expected, were well choreographed and kept the excitement going
BLAND
---The saddest part about movies like Viruman is the redundancy in the character design (especially the lead actor and heroine), plot, dialogues, dance segments, score, climax, etc.
We've seen way too many of this kind that another one makes it overwhelming and unappealing. Just a little touch of originality could have taken Viruman to a higher level.

This is a very regressive movie that would have failed even in the 80s. The characters are one dimensional and you can predict the next scene every 5th minute. The screenplay is not coherent and looks like track love scenes and forced comedy sequences. If you remember the order fight - love - song - comedy - fight, then bingo you are the Director of this movie.
The biggest drawback you cannot connect with the characters or the environment on the screen. The Dad is too bad and the hero is all good, no evil... If there had been a story why Prakash Raj character became like that, it would have atleast engaging.
Do not watch!!

The plot of the film is average and does not offer anything new or innovative. The screenplay lacks engagement and fails to keep the audience hooked throughout.
However, there are a few comedy, mass, and emotional scenes that manage to work and provide some entertainment value.
Karthi delivers a good performance, showcasing his acting skills. Prakash Raj, Raj Kiran, and Aditi Rao Hydari also perform adequately in their respective roles.
The production values of the film are decent, but the overall cinematic experience could have been better.
Fans of the actors or the genre may find it worth watching in theaters, but for others, it is advisable to wait for the film's release on an OTT platform.

Formulaic village story and run of the mill presentation. Nothing original and lot of scenes test your patience. Especially the action blocks and mother flashback sentiment scenes.
Lot of nice dialogs there but that is the only appreciable thing in this movie. Everything else is scene 100 times before in Tamil cinema. And curse to the director to bring back "sivakasi" Prakash Raj with his loud shouting.
Aditi is OK but her body language is artificial. Karthik and Rajkiran did the same role before and dont know how they chose this script.
Easily skippable one.
