A protogonist find that his life became triangular destiny and soon he figure out the solutions for that.. Meanwhile he solved his friend's murder case ... Intellectual story but feels very short movie... 2 hours not enough to say everything for viewers understanding... Still must watch one.. (Must watch part 1 before watching part 2)

Jiivi 2 Jiivi 2 follows the same format of first movie(jiivi-1).but it contains some more layers that'll surprise you

Positives I really love the way jiivi-1's core plot how natural the plot is rather than some unnatural stuffs.i find the same naturality in this film.

Especially I find first 30 minutes of this movie really beautiful that how greatly it take us into their world.

Depth in the screenplay is another great positive,especially how the dots are connected,and the way they unfolds were beautiful to watch

Cinematography-beautifully done,most importantly lightings in police station,tasmac,hari's place(charcter's name) were beautiful to watch

Music-elevates the suspense into another level Songs were placed in good scenarios especially 1st song

Perfomances-vetri and karunakaran done their roles perfectly,everyone else acted really expecially heroine acted really well as a blind person.

Negatives To be frank I Dont find any negative in this movie.

Overall,superb mystery thriller with realistic portrayal.

Not a great sequel but good one . Story starts to takes place after 10 months after the events of Jiivi 1 . Movie takes it's own time to get into the story , the real story starts after 20mins which keeps us engaged till the end . Twist and turns well supported to the movie , Jiivi 2 to follows the same pattern of Jiivi 1 . Main positive was well written dialogues , some of the dialogues were really thought provoking and hard hitting . Except few , cast done their job well . Drawbacks , direction was bit weak , some of the supporting cast performance was poor and few flaws . Overall , it's not great as Jiivi 1 , but definitely worth to watch .

This is old wine in the old bottle itself.

I liked Jiivi because the concept was new and the content was portrayed so simply with just 2 sets of groups/families and hence no complexity at all whereas Jiivi 2 is the same old concept presented with multiple sets of families with more complex layers and there has been some tryout to make it as an extension but since its the same thing that's being presented, at some point, we lose interest and the complexity just makes it tedious for us to watch further.

And there was some action kinda scenes which were as silly as in tv serials and those scenes don't look like being made for a feature film at all.
