Life imitates Art:
1. Assad's chemical attack on his people a foregone conclusion, despite OPCW scandals and the investigators' wistleblowing 2. ISIS is/was a spontaneous movement, NOT aided and engineered by the intelligence communities of the West. 3. Clear demarcation of Syrians Rebels and Islamists 4. French Muslims outwitting and outmaneuvering intelligence community 5. French muslims garner much antipathy of both the screen writers and the viewers.

This is a slow paced French series that is poorly written and edited. Scenes are randomly stuck together, characters not well introduced or developed, and a total lack of continuity in the story line. The viewer has to piece together much of the story to fill in the gaps. This leads to a loss of interest and empathy for the characters. The good thing is that one can watch this intermittently so it does fill a space in a streaming queue when there is nothing better to watch.
