I literally have eight hours a day to fill. I'll listen to almost anything. But this is high production, poorly cast, badly written trash. I love Melissa Vilesenor, but why is she playing Robin? Two Face's two voices were not different. Chris Parnell is ok, but just sound like Dr. Spaceman doing a bit. I which Rosario Dawson had better dialogue. I cannot believe this got a second season. I'm especially sad that this is so bad after having listened to The Riddler and Batman: Unburied. Those were both excellent. Do yourself a favor and listen to those instead. Sorry, Jeffrey Wright, even you couldn't save this crap.
Misses the mark on so many levels. The worst part was having a grown woman do the voice of Robin. How did anyone think this was a good idea? I kept thinking he was talking to Oracle, but nope, it was just grown-woman-Robin. They could have at least gone with Carrie Kelly.
Two Face is terrible. I hate this contemporary version of him that seems to be popular now; the idea that the two sides of his face are arguing with each other. This isn't how TwoFace is, and the first time I recall seeing this interpretation was in Batman Forever with Tommy Lee Jones in the role. TeoFace is obsessed with the number two and sometimes with the dual nature of certain things. To just make someone schizophrenic because their name is Two Face is lazy and uninspired.
The voices in this were all around terrible. There one or two that were good; I'm thinking Chris Parnell and Rosario Dawson.
I really wanted to like this, but like everything else the SNL crew does, they never tap the potential. This is strictly entertainment for people who might have heard of Batman, but don't really know anything about him.

Batman: The Audio Adventures is comedic and campy creativity that presents the mythos of Batman in one of the most unique forms to have come out in a long time. It's an adventurous comedy with a dash of what makes Batman darkly desirous and it's a drama with sprinkles of satirical silliness(In a good way)!
I love Batman and I adore this rendition so much! It's Batman dark without loosing its cartoonish neon glow. It's like if the animated series and the Arkham games had a baby and its cool wine aunt was the 60's Batman.
The Pros: *The creative direction was so beyond fun. Thank god to whoever made the choice of Harley Quinn's plot! Hot damn it was such a refreshing take.
*The chemistry of all the actors was so so fun to hear. John Leguizamo and Heidi Gardner are a total chef's kiss match up. Bobby Moynihan Is amazing as Penguin. Brent Spiner as Joker is so skin crawlingly creepy and darkly funny. Bradley Whitford's Scarecrow was written in the stars. Just the whole cast really made it. I didn't have a hard time accepting Jeffrey Wright as Batman at all. Melissa Villaseñor as Robbin was totally what you think the boy wonder would sound like.
* Cheers to Gillian Jacobs; I have noooo clue why she isn't everyone pick to voice Harley. She hit the nail so hard on the head she turned it into sausages.
The con. It's a big one but it could be fixed: I wish there was more. There isn't enough. I'm thinking of writing HBO and making a petition to get it back.
If you want or need something to hear because your getting bored of your playlists, if your a long term fan or casual viewer maybe even new to the fandom, I 100000% recommend this to anybody and everybody.

The production quality on this series is great (albeit campy - a bit like the 60s TV show Batman show) and the A-list talent is top shelf (with top props going to Brent Spiner as the Joker).
But here's the issue - and it's a big issue - the HBOmax app will only play if the screen display is active on your phone. This is an AUDIO series, and will absurdly shred your phone's battery by only playing with the pointless visual of a radio being on display on your phone.
C'mon, HBO - you should've fixed this long ago.

- QuizFor the podcast's presentation on the HBO Max video streaming platform, the audio is paired with a visual component, featuring a Batman-styled Art Deco radio sitting in front of various evocative, scene-specific backgrounds (rendered monochromatically).
