This was so entertaining. The jokes and references were on point and absolutely hilarious. The Luke story is my favorite. The terrifying tales are used in a very clever way that is both fun to watch and also meaningful to the overall story. I had a great time with this one. Even more so than I had with the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special because this time we actually got a good story that connects all these references.
Dana Snyder brings the comedy to graballa
He did an amazing job in the thundermans as dr coloso
It was just as good as the Lego Star Wars holiday special,
Watch it
Fun for the family.
This was a solid, entertaining Lego Star Wars special. In November of 2020, Disney+ released a Lego Star Wars Christmas special, and I loved it. I loved how it was funny, entertaining, and had a lot of callbacks. That is exactly what this had.
Any Lego special is funny, but this one was better than most. Just like in the Holiday special, the writers made fun of things Star Wars gets laughed at, but they do it in such a clever way. The characters just act so silly and stupid as well, it is so funny. Graballa the Hutt was also funny. Just a stupidly silly character. Seeing Zombie Separatist Droids was also hilarious. They were already jokes as is, but them as zombies made them look even dumber. It was definitely one of the highs of the special for me.
The story and plot of this wasn't too bad either. It was pretty entertaining which is all I am looking for when I watch stuff like this. I also thought Vaneé sharing the stories during the short, and them all culminating at the end was pretty cool. The stories were pretty entertaining as well. My favorite one was when Palpatine sent Grievous and Maul to retrieve a Sith lightsaber. It was the most comedic of the stories, and it was also the best. I liked how they showed Maul's rebirth from Clone Wars and made it funny. I liked the twist. It was also cool to hear Sam Witwer back to voice Maul. He was phenomenal in Clone Wars and Rebels, he brought the same energy to this as well, but had a slightly comedic role which was cool. Lastly, Poe said "I've got a bad feeling about this," the iconic Star Wars line that is in nearly everything. I laugh whenever I hear it I'm Star Wars now.
Lastly, they made a most of references in this special, not just to Star Wars, but to horror movies as well, and they once again added a comedic twist to it.
Just like the Lego Holiday special, this was very well done. I definitely recommend families watching it for a Halloween family movie, or for a family movie on any night. It is family friendly Lego Star Wars fun.

I enjoyed this as much as the Lego Stars Wars Holiday Special and thought Lego Star Wars Terrifying Tales was a quick entertaining watch.
I like Lego and the Lego movies even some of the straight to digital ones or staright to streaming like this, this does look better than the older straight to digital Lego Movies.
The animation has improved and looks pretty good, it still has the same characters we know andI found it a bit funny, i'll even say the tales/stories they tell were interesting.
I also like that this takes place after the events of the Star Wars Rise of Skywalker movie, it gives it a certain placement in the Star Wars saga which was cool seeing.
Its not the best thing i've seen but its still pretty entertaining to watch in October.

I didn't mind Lego Star Wars Holiday Special so I watched Terrifying Tales for the heck of it. Terrifying Tales was okay as expected, I guess Holiday Special was loosely better.
The Lego specials are non-canon sequels to the sequel trilogy and I'm sure some fans want Rise of Skywalker to be non-canon. Poe crash lands on Mustafar where he visits Darth Vader's castle where he's told three spooky tales. The first tale concerns Kylo, the second tale concerns Maul and the third tale concerns Luke.
The humor is okay, its just there. There's plenty of kiddy humor and slapstick. I guess the Holiday special is sillier.
Overall, Terrifying Tales was okay. If you have kids, put it on for them. If Lucasfilm makes another special, I may skip it.

- BlooperWhen Trudgen first calls Ben Solo a "Kylo", he is standing between Vicrul (on his right) and Ushar (on his left). But when it changes to a wide angle from above, Kuruk is on his right and Vicrul and Ushar are both on his left. A moment later, when the Knights all draw their weapons, Trudgen is between Vicrul and Ushar again.
