Most reviewers consider this drama boring due to its lack of dramatic ups and downs. If that's what you're after then you should indeed give this one a miss. So far I am liking this drama a lot. I like that there are no sadistic boss that screams at and tortures the staff non-stop; no friend or colleague to betray you at any step; no evil and all-powerful chairman whose only goal is to destroy our poor hero or heroine and no corrupt police chief to do his bidding; no serial killer lurking around either so far... What we have are pretty normal people with typical challenges in their lives that most of us can relate to one way or another. When it comes to the love lives of the leads and supporting casts, they are realistic. No one is perfect and each person comes with his/her defects or personal trauma. That makes them real. That makes them human. Yet if all this sounds too serious, IMO show somehow manages to bring a very lighthearted and positive atmosphere so it definitely feels like a comedy with many opportunities for a smile or two. We'll see how the 2nd half goes but so far I am really enjoying these sympathetic characters despite, or because of, their occasional pathetic behaviors.
I think the reason so many people have given it poor ratings is because of the age difference between the male and female leads. The same thing happened with "We are breaking up". I think many ahjummas who watch K-drama cannot tolerate the fact that a 40 year old actress could play the role of a 32 year old who romances a hunk 10 years younger than her. If not for that fact I can't imagine why in the world anybody would give this brilliantly written, cast, directed and acted show anything less than a 9/10.
Park Min-Young is simply outstanding in every single scene, showing once again why she's the queen of comic timing. The ML also does a good job, but PMY outshines everybody else. The side stories about her sister's fumbling love life, and about her co-workers each of whom is going through their own struggle weaves a beautiful and heartwarming tapestry which is a delight to watch. Each episode is unpredictable and unlike many other Korean shows you want to keep watching until that last 16th episode even though you know whats going to happen for the most part.
It is not just the romance, the heartbreak and the drama which keeps you watching though. It is also the intricate details of weather forecasting which are ingeniously woven into each episode which are a delight to watch. Did I just say "delight to watch" twice? Yes, I did. That's because it is. I'm rarely left with such a good feeling after watching a show. Watch it and you will see what I mean 😊
My love for K-drama started with "What's wrong with Secretary Kim", was renewed by "Crash-landing into you" and continues to be deepened by lovely shows such as this one.

An interesting idea about a national weather service and the relationships of the staff within it. Each episode reflects on a type of weather phenomenon and translates that into the human interactions that mirror the weather. The main romance is between the director and a slightly younger but very smart junior, but other members of the team are also included. It is well acted and you will walk away from it more aware of the difficulties predicting the weather, but for me I was not really drawn into the overall story.
This is the first time I think Song Kang is playing such an upbeat and cheerful character, his character in this drama is like a breath of fresh air from all the other characters he played before.
Park Min-Young as always is fabulous and the queen of office romances.
(I was exhilarated to watch Ki-Jun (Yoon Park's character) being slapped. The whole scene was nicely written) The series has ended, and I have mixed emotions about it.
As an office romance drama, this show was just okay. It was a good attempt to relate weather and relationships, but a few times it got a little confusing to understand, and you will have to focus to know what they actually mean.
Song Kang has tried his best. But halfway through the show, his character lost its charm. His character that started out as cheerful and upbeat lost its impact a little, and more than a few times his acting reminded me of his character from Nevertheless.
I love Park Min-Young and as a fan, I will support her always because I know she has potential. But she does need to play a different character apart from an office worker as it's losing its spark and I know she can, so hoping to see her in a different role in the future.
The secondary leads played their part well and I have to admit in the end I did not hate them as much as I did at the start.
The ending is what we all anticipated.
I do have to confess though that throughout the show I was mesmerized by how fine Song Kang looked. I would watch the show just to look at Song Kang again.
Overall it's a good show, not the best but definitely at least a one-time watch.
