Aru youmuin

Story is simple. Revenge, forgive and protect..... All Killers are psychopath. They kill each other for their living. They look like working people in ordinary company. But blood is everywhere.

This is a decent Japanese action film about the mob and revenge. A Janitor discovers his adopted mob boss father killed his biological father and kills him. This sets up a void in the Japanese mob creating a violent power struggle, of which the dead crime boss's daughter is at the center. The movie appears to be low budget. It has the standard hyperbolic personalities in the characters. The action is decent. The acting is decent. The movie just doesn't tie the elements together as well as so many Japanese movies. It is short, but still a little boring. This one is in Japanese with English subtitles. Add 1/2 star if you love the Baby Assassins as much as me.

Set in the same universe as Baby Assasins. I enjoyed the story and the mostly over the top characters. I wonder if all the assassins in this movie have/will have their own films.

I will watch them if that is the case. I'm a sucker for a series of loosly connected violent films.

The action was all quite good. The story was as simple as it gets. The main character has a lot more depth than anyone else, and I thought the behaviour of the girl was very realistic.

Sort of an odd mix of realistic drama and ridiculous characatures.

It was njoyable none the less.
