Oru Thekkan Thallu Case

A fairly decent watch. Director could have slightly played around with the script & this would have been much more entertaining.

Climax could have been much more interesting. Length of the movie could have been shortened. That would have made it racy. Title was a dampner. Could have had a different one.

Among the actors - PadmaPriya was Top class. Biju Menon & Roshan performed well. Nimisha's expression appeared same throughout.

Friends team of Roshan did their part well as well.

Could have done with some slick editing as certain parts were a drag !

A one time watch though. Better than some of the recent ones. Appears that it lacked promotion.

Oru thekkan thallu case is a kind of revenge story where ammini pilla played by biju menon, the biggest rowdy in the village seeks revenge on podiyan (played by roshan mathews) and his gang.

The best thing about the movie is cinematography by madhu neelakandan, especially the night sequences were beautifuly done. Some shots reminded me of scenes from the movie jallikattu (the scene where people run with a fires stick on their hand). The perfomance by all the actors were really good, but i would like to give a special mention to biju menon as ammini pilla, he was just awsome, It is his perfomance that holds the audience till the end. Nimisha sajayan, padmapriya, roshan mathew and all his gang members, everyone deliver a good perfomance. The music by just vargese was really good, I loved the two songs and the background score was really nice especially the one given to biju menon. The action sequences were really good, it felt part of the story and narrative rather than something to show heroism, the action sequence in the night where podiyan and his gang attack ammini pillai was nicely executed. The production design and art work was superbly done, it transports us to the time period of late 80s Or early 90s. The costumes, props used all are done nicely to match the time period.

The issue I had with the movie is in the second half, since a good villian Or antaganist was missing, I didn't feel a anticipation towards the end. I felt the writers could have created a much better villian.

Overall, definitely a good watch if u love revenge action drama.

Movie is engaging in most part, part of the story telling is really good , part of it is flat. But certainly worth a watch

What stand out is the base story , it presents a new landscape, some new twists and turns , lot of genuineness. The script , while not best is also good. There are some good humor that fits well in the movie. Climax was also good. Director looks confused between realistic and action thriller. Good attempt to pick this story though

Biju Menon is probably not the best cast for this , appear lazy for the character . Roshan , Nimisha and padmapriya was good. So as the new cast of Roshan friends, especially the police guy.

Over all one should give it a try. I liked it.

The movie is just one time watchable. A typical Kerala village back in the 1950's near the river. Another revenge seeking movie done by Biju Menon like ayyapanum koshiyum. But too much of such movies is boring. It's time Biju Menon chooses a different script. The new gen people may not like this movie but this movie would have been a super hit had it released in 1980's. The actors did a decent job. The film lags in the first half. In this modern era where people settle their scores within few hours mostly, this film shows it takes months. The hero gets his revenge one by one and that was the funny part. Also lots of abusive language used . Don't watch in front of kids.

A simple story, which become unique when right choreography and background score put in right place.

Bijumenon with his usual charismatic performance rules the movie. Padmapriya and Nimisha give justice to there roles. Like 'Nna thaan case Kodu' this movie also follows the trend of giving chances to new faces, they did there role tremendously well. The rivalry between Biju and Roshan resembles Ayappanum Koshiyum.

Expected some more action sequences in the climax, felt like the movie ended quickly.

Bijumenon does lots of similar kind of movies these days. Anyways altogether the movie is a fun entertainer. .
