It's not Ted Lasso but who said it was?!!!

A funny, girl boss series with silly characters. Take it for what it is, have a laugh, see the flawed people for the comedy it's meant to be and don't compare it to anything else. It's not Ted Lasso & I don't understand those comparing it to that incredible show! Just enjoy it! Or be critical. It's your choice.

Really enjoyable

This is a really enjoyable series, better than I expected. Living in the UK, basketball is not a major sport but it's the family dynamics and interplay between the characters that makes this so much fun. The way Isla as a woman has to deal with a very male environment in the team is an extra issue to make this even more interesting. It has its element of drama and intrigue but not so much that it spoils the subject comedy.

Funny and enjoyable

Very funny. I'm not really a sports fan, but this series is great and funny. It's funny in a way similar to Ted Lasso. Where the lead is a descent person, with flaws. It's not a bunch of a-holes being jerks and us laughing at them being jerks, but there is an undercurrent of humanity, something desperately needed in today's world.

Not sure what else to say in order for the IMDB base limit. Guess I'll just say it is worth the time, plus each episode is is less than a half hour so very little risk or time for you to view. If they can maintain the vibe they have it should be a hit for a while. That's it.

Good one

Liked it. Didn't expect to, but I did actually. Binged it in about three separate sessions. I tried it for Kate Hudson cause I saw her on Graham Norton talking about it and I thought I'd give it a try. It is surprisingly entertaining and doesn't feel forced and unnatural. Which is quite rare for most comedy series these days. Very few good ones and even fewer on Netflix sadly.

I liked the character dynamics and the twisted relationships and here and there you can even find a little bit of depth. I hope they don't mess it up in the next season.

Solid comedy worth watching

Running point is a solid comedy with a bunch of likable characters that make this show worth watching. You don't have to be a sports fan to like this either, I am so the little basketball it does have is just a bonus for people like me. Kate Hudson is as great and beautiful as always and Scott MacArthur and Drew Tarber bring plenty of laughs. I think they wanted this to be the next Ted Lasso and it's not close to as good as that but if you're looking for a fun show that you can binge through and have some laughs then give Running Point a try.
