Essential viewing for our democracy and citizens

Follow families trying to ferret out the best way to give their children the ultimate skill for success -- reading. See the inspired educator and former Oakland Unified School District principal join the efforts of the NAACP to bring the science of reading to all public schools to provide equity to our most vulnerable populations.

If you want to consider how reading is a social justice issue, watch this film! If you want school district decision makers to level up the playing field for all students QUOTE and cite this film. As a teacher-librarian I highly recommend this documentary for everyone. Share widely!
