The film makers are trying to convey that, this slow paced crime thriller is like a Jigsaw Puzzle. For the same reason, all the pieces were scattered infront of the audience. A usual person can easily guess what's coming, except for the grand twist at the end. As in recent Malayalam movies, there are a ton of hints given throughout the movie to misguide the viewers, as it is a cliche these days, sometimes can irritate the audience. If you love a slow paced crime thriller, this is your cup of tea.

It was a decent paced suspense thriller. There are some lags in between but you won't get bored and will be guessing throughout the killer. The twist is something really unexpected though there were clues.

A better marketing could have made this movie a hit.

Not bad, yet quite amateur storytelling. Nothing to really keep you hooked, the blame keeps shifting from one person to another. The climax was the only surprise, but at that point nobody really cares. Can't associate with any character cos of the way the movie is filmed. Good attempt though.

This crime thriller was quite enjoyable for me. The story was smart and kept the suspense hidden, which made the ending really surprising. It's not something you can guess easily. There were a few parts in the movie where I found the flaws a bit off-putting, which may not convenience the audience. Despite that, I was happy with the film overall. It's definitely one I'd add to my list of thrillers to watch again. The movie grabbed my attention from the beginning and held it all the way to the end. The twist at the end was especially exciting and something new for a Malayalam movie. It left me hoping for a sequel because the ending suggested there's more story to tell.

We, film enthusiasts keep guessing who is the 'Killer' from beginning till the end while watching an investigation thriller, and most of the times we found it before the climax and the thrill is gone by the end. However, '21 Grams' brilliantly hide it and delivered a kickass punch at the end, and that makes this thriller one of the best in Malayalam film industry.

Highly recommended to all to watch this thriller, you wont be disappointed for this suspense thriller. Start with small pace but you will be part of investigation slowly and try to find out the killer. There are twist and mind game.

Brilliance in script and direction is appreciated. Even though a new comer Bibin Krishna done a brilliant job.

Coming to Anoop menon he done superb acting . One of the best acting in his career.

Watchable investigative thriller with nice pace... no lagging and the factors are got revealed in proper interval. The only issue is we can predict the twist after some point of time. Still the climax gives the satisfactory ending to the movie.... All the cast and acting was good.

Lower your expectations and you will get real treat from this presentation...

After few murders happened, the police starts to investigate and it leads to lot of inside stories and make to suspect many people... At starting little hard to follow this story and soon u can remember those castings and follow.. Must watch thriller movie...!

I watched this movie based on suggestions from close circles. This is a nicely scripted movie with a great climax. Appreciate the director, especially while he being a debutant.

I could not say if there are any loopholes in the script, for that it worth a re-watch. The making is very good with great cinematography and BGM. Actors were performing well.

Twenty one grams written and directed by Bibin krishna is made beautifully to hold the audience in the edge. Audience were investigating the case along with Anoop menon. 99% audience will not able to predict the climax and the killer. Its an amazing malayalam thriller movie and should watch in theaters.

Looks like its one of the good movies done by Anoop Menon in recent times. Hats off to the debutant director to try the path of crime thriller and making it a gripping one. 21 Grams is a must watch movie in theatres to get the best experience.

Malayalam's obsession with murder mysteries has not delivered spectacular results off late with "Forensic" (2020), "Cold Case" (2021) and "Irul" (2021) not at all striking a chord with audiences. As a mature audience exposed to hit detective procedurals like "Elementary", "Sherlock" as well as Hollywood it takes superlative writing and superior making (like "Anjaam Pathiraa" (2020)) to impress the Malayali audience and "21 grams" achieves just that.

Despite struggling off late with off-kilter roles in "Ente Mezhuthiri Athazhangal" (2018) and "Vidhi" (2022), Anoop Menon returns to the suave police officer role that made him such a household named in the era-defining "Traffic" (2011). He stars as DYSP Nanda Kishore, a capable police office struggling with his own familial issues, tasked with solving a perplexing murder of a young doctor.

Written and directed by debutante Bibin Krishna, the narrative is painstakingly built with a first act setting a grand stage of varied characters whose motivations and natures are kept deliciously ambiguous. The camera work from cinematographer Jithu Damodar is especially eye-catching with a lot of the narrative happening on vehicles and the roads, the way he builds suspense with the nature and positioning of his shots was a joy to watch.

Despite some overdramatic elements in portions, 21 Grams is an engrossing, immensely watchable thriller with a splendid narrative style that will keep you guessing. While the many twists are not entire unguessable, the way the layers of the story unravel and culminate in a gut-punch of a climax is pleasing to watch, especially unfolding on the big screen.

A recommended watch. Do try to catch it in theatres before its OTT release-the cinematography and sound design are well worth it!

Excellent movie, these kind of thrillers will come once in a while. Unable believe the story and direction is from a debutant. A must watch for all the ones who love investigation thriller. Anoop Menon, Anu Mohan, Lena, Leona, Ranjith, Renji Panicker, Sankar Ramakrishnan, all of the acted very well and did justice to their role. BGM is amazing, thanks Deepak Dev. Also one lovely song in thriller movie.

Movie promotion was not up to the mark and did not get the deserved number of shows in opening week. Distribution did not do their job well.
