First part was better!
I remember liking the first movie way back in 2019 and wishing that a sequel should drop soon because it had the charm of a low-budget sci-fi flick and also had this interesting proposition where superhumans are pitted against absolutist authorities who are trying their best to oppress and subdue.
This continuation could have built upon the same and could have made the storytelling more nuanced, more detailed, but it couldn't. The issue is that they showed promise at the very beginning but ended up delivering little to almost nothing.
Surely the monetary restrictions played their parts, but the lack of clear vision and ambition too had hindered its true potential.
