Casper Smart is Dating New Chick Who Rivals J Lo
[[tmz:video id="0_scia9sp0"]] Casper Smart's got a type -- they've gotta be smart, talented and, of course, booty-full. Casper has been dating 30-year-old Paige Hathaway for the last couple of months. She's a fitness model/entrepreneur who's not only drop dead gorgeous, but also has a bod that rivals Casper's ex, Jennifer Lopez. Casper and J Lo called it quits in August 2016 after several years of dating, but clearly there was no need for pity tears. Casper...

Greg Grunberg claims that Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be "incredible"
There are definite advantages to having one of the biggest directors in the game as your longtime friend; when that friend lands the gig of directing Star Wars: The Force Awakens, there's a very good chance you'll get to appear in the film. Trailer Creep Brings the Chills Back to Found Footage Features
There is and always will be something special about terrific unique found footage films. They tap a serious nerve. Apollo 18 broke the mold. So did The Blair Witch Project Rec Alien Abduction and Lucky Bastard. Those were standout subgenre features and if this trailer is any indicator of what genre freaks are in store for Creep may be the next handycam pic to leave viewers truly unnerved.

Girlhouse Review
In the vein of slumber party massacre films boasting scantily-clad coeds and voyeuristic pleasures, Girlhouse exploits the sleazy subgenre by throwing pornography into the mix – because it wasn’t easy enough to get girls topless in horror films already. There’s more to Trevor Matthews’ raunchy thriller than horny webcam girls and strip-lawn-golf, though, as writer Nick Gordon blends the already perverse nature of VH1 reality shows with dangerous internet predators we choose to believe don’t exist. Some websites already give subscribers more access than necessary to sexy performers, but Gordon goes a step further by introducing an emotional undertone that deceivingly creates a bond between male customers and their favorite muse. Obsessed, aroused men falling in love with online strippers – what could go wrong?! (A lot.)

Ali Cobrin plays Kylie Atkins, the newest model checking into an online brothel known as Girlhouse. Created by Gary Preston (James Thomas...

GirlHouse (2015) Review
If youre a follower of Knautz and Matthews you could find yourself slightly underwhelmed especially when a few similar ideas have been brought to the screen in just the last few years (look into Sx Tape Open Windows and Lucky Bastard for examples of films that could easily earn comparisons). Having said that GirlHouse does have its moments. And furthermore it isnt exactly like any of the other aforementioned films its just a little closer in content than may be preferred. And hell at the very end of the day we do get some lovely shots of scantily clad if not fully nude beauties like Ali Cobrin Alyson Bath and Nicole Arianna Fox. Hard to bitch about that.

My Own Man (2014)
Netflix to Debut 'My Own Man' from Producer Edward Norton
My Own Man (2014)
Netflix, the world's leading Internet TV network, will premiere the original documentary My Own Man, from executive producer Edward Norton, on March 6, 2015. The film was written, produced and directed by David Sampliner (Dirty Work), and will premiere exclusively on Netflix in all territories where Netflix is available.

When director Sampliner learns he's about to become a father to a baby boy, he fears he must "man up" and finally embrace the latent masculinity he's rejected all his life. But as he immerses himself in a strange new world of masculine ideals, including vocal lessons, warrior weekends and hunting, he realizes all roads lead back to his own fraught relationship with his father. Intimate, funny and moving, My Own Man reveals the sometimes painful truths that are often left unspoken between fathers and sons. The film made its debut at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2014.

What Happens When You Make an Nc-17 Movie
You may have heard Nc-17 called the “rating of death” for the way it kills a movie’s commercial success. Is this true? As a producer of one of the handful of Nc-17 films ever made, Lucky Bastard, I can tell you it’s like the guys on Jackass finding out what happens when you get kicked in the nuts: Yes, it hurts like hell. Does the spectacle itself attract attention? Maybe—but you’ve still been kicked in the nuts. Lucky Bastard is a thriller about an adult website that pairs average Joes with porn stars (there really are such sites). When one troubled young man fails to perform, he is driven by shame and humiliation to enact bloody revenge on the porn crew. For us, this was a great micro-budget premise that let us comment upon America’s obsessions with sex, violence and “humiliation entertainment.”For artistic reasons, we...

SX_Tape Review
Just as quickly as Afflicted redefined the “found footage” horror subgenre, SX_Tape came along and proved there are still Plenty of opportunities for filmmakers to exploit first-person horror normalities. One day there’s a bright hope, the next there’s a disgusting reminder that for every original idea, someone else will rehash the past few years of duds for their own ill-conceived shitfest. I want to remain positive, happily accepting an advancement in “found footage” horror – but it takes a certain type of awful to make me hate a movie in which our lead, possessed character jumps up and down screaming “Let Me Suck Your Dick!” To think some inexperienced filmmaker could just waltz into stardom with such a – wait, this was directed by Bernard Rose of Candyman fame? Oh boy, where’s Tony Todd when you need him?

When has a sex tape ever gone wrong, am I right?...

Entering our second week of official podding, Justine and I are starting to get the hang of this whole “talk about movies” gig, but we’ll accept any feedback from you guys on how to become the best podcasters in the multiverse. Oh, you guys all know my co-host Justine Browning, right? New York City press circuit mainstay, and Wgtc’s red carpet correspondent? Sorry newbies, don’t want to leave you uninformed.

This week sees some pretty interesting releases in Robocop, Endless Love, and Winter’s Tale – but honestly, who cares about those? You can stay tuned for theatrical reviews on all those titles and more, right here at Wgtc, but this week I thought it...

Adam Stein on set
FEARnet is proud to present brand new fiction from Nightmare Magazine. Once a month, we'll be featuring a story from Nightmare’s current issue. This month's selection is “The Totals” by Adam-Troy Castro. Please tell us what you think and enjoy!

The Totals

Clutch has killed somebody recently.

This goes without saying.

For as long as Clutch can remember, he has always killed somebody “recently.” If not within the last few hours, then certainly within the last few days. He may have gone as long as a couple of weeks without, from time to time, when circumstances conspired against him. But never as long as a month, no, not for living memory.

Of course, Clutch has never had much of a memory. All the events of his violent life pass before him like dream-images, fading into the past almost as soon as the screams people make...

The Nc-17 Rating Needs to Be Abolished (We Should Know, We Made an Nc-17 Movie.)
We are the writers and executive producers of Lucky Bastard, which Robert directed, a “found footage” thriller about a porn shoot gone horribly wrong. While not featuring actual sex, Lucky Bastard has nudity, strong language, sexual situations and disturbing violence. Concerned about our film’s intense content, we submitted it for an MPAA rating. We accepted “Nc-17 for explicit sexual content” because, in all honesty, it is the correct rating. Nonetheless, the Nc-17 rating is fundamentally flawed and needs to be abolished. Nc-17 is a charade, for all intents and purposes dying on the vine. It is a deterrent to ensure […]...

Duo forms distribution firm
Rich Wolff and Richard Ross, both former Tla Releasing execs, are launching a new North American distribution company, Breaking Glass Pictures, named after David Bowie's 1995 song.

The new distributor, which said it would not restrict itself to any particular genre, has begun to develop a slate that includes the rock film "The Band," from Australian director Anna Brownfield, and director Everett Lewis' "Lucky Bastard," about a man whose life spirals out of control when he falls for a street hustler.

In early 2010, The company will release Morgan J. Freeman's road movie "Just Like the Son," starring Rosie Perez and Mark Webber.

The company is looking to line up other distribution agreements for both individual films and catalogs and also plans to provide service deals.

And it will distribute up to 12 titles annually through the new specialty label Vicious Circle Films, focusing on extreme material, such as "Hanger,...
