The production values were pretty good but the script was poor, especially the dialogue between Vartika and her daughter and her conveying things about certain tribes to the media. I don't think the viewer needs things spelling out to them. Also unnecessarily 'Hollywoodised' in the script and the treatment of the series. It would've worked perfectly well within Indian standards due to its high production values. Very well shot and I think the intro is amazing. Disappointed with this series as the previous one left a lasting impact on me. It was by far one of the best series I've ever seen. It's still worth a watch though.

Okay, I didn't expect the second season to match the first, just as I don't expect any second season of any great show (or any sequel of any great film, for that matter) to repeat the magic of its predecessor. Delhi Crime, the first season, was one of the best shows I've seen, both in intention, writing, acting, and the overall quality. Above all, the show really did have magic; the combination of characters and story made it a one-of-a-kind experience. Does this season live up to the quality of the first? Probably not much, but in and of itself, it is nothing short of brilliant.

Indeed, the second season of Delhi Crime, which tackles a different story and addresses other important themes, such as the power structure in Indian society, denial of the rights of the underprivileged, is fantastic. The show boasts of the same, respectable production values - with phenomenal photography, great dialogue, and it moves at a steady pace. One of the big advantages of second seasons is the fact that you do not have to provide the background of the characters - the basics have already been provided and so everything in the story is straight to the point.

Shefali Shah, this phenomenal performing artiste, is a treasure to behold. She is absolutely marvelous in every frame. This season, in many ways, is a gift just because it provides audiences an extension of her portrayal in the previous season. She is fierce and imperious and strong in ways one could only admire. Rajesh Tailang, Rasika Dugal, Akash Dahiya, all of whom were excellent in the previous show, are just as great this time as well. The acting in general is phenomenal by one and all, and the new turn of the talented Tillotama Shome is excellent. Brilliant show, overall.

The series was unique and there was no need to compare it with season 1 since its all about different crimes that happens within the city.

There is so much to tell that this series explains within a short span of time.

2 womens facing each other with an entirely different motive, one representing evil while other representing the moral class.

Overall a good watch and nice message delivered if only one watched it carefully.

The dialogue that captured my hearth was a mother daughter talk where her daughter days :

Mom ! I know you and that you would pick a right side, NO MATTER EVEN IF U R ALONE !!

Delhi Crime 2 on Netflix was one of the most awaited sequels of OTT. The reason was that the first season of Delhi Crime got international acclaim and huge popularity in India as well. The second season takes the characters of the first season on a new crime saga in the capital city of Delhi. This time the crime is linked with the gory Kachcha Banian gang who created havoc in Delhi and parts of U. P. in the 1990s! The makers take the familiar tone of Delhi Crime and set it in another spine-chilling crime. The toil, the inner turmoil, the hard work and the "domestic issues" of the DCP Vartika and her team are very well exploited in season 2 as well. The gory murders, the hardened criminals and their nefarious planning are scary. The familiarity of the scenario and the well-known localities where crime is committed in Delhi, send shivers down the spine. The entire team deserves kudos for matching the magic of season 1. On the acting from Shefali again throws an ace and is ably supported by the entire team(literally). Though personally, I felt the climax was rather hurried and underwhelming compared to season 1, yet season 2 has enough punch to make for a gritty viewing!!!

Many comparing Delhi crime season 2 with season 1 but it's ok .Let me tell you ,this is the brilliant Web series comes in 2022, You will feel goosebumps in many scene and story telling and screenplay is top notch. Consisting of 5 epsiode you wants more when it nearing end. One, thing I like about this show is that casting has been superb and so is writing .Kudos to director Tanuj Chopra for presenting it so beautifuly. I hope they bring more stories to the table into the coming season. Shaifali Shah has been immense so is the other cast..Villian in this series is the suprise package .you will love that character.
