Watch it for some very good performances.

VP is as dependable as ever.

Ranvir Shorey is just splendid as a no-nonsense prosecutor. His dialog delivery is enchanting. Gul has played such roles with panache in the past too. No exception this time either. The surprise package is the defense lawyer. Worth the 90 mins of your time.

The story is of a chartered accountant who has been framed with allegations followed by good starcasts and every character has played perfectly..the editing and direction went hand in hand to keep the movie short and subject oriented.. the movie will keep you on toes for the suspense matter..The climax was thrilling and justified the movie

This is a great movie and all the stars have acted so well. This is better than watching usless boney kappor's kids, amitab bachan's son movie.

The plot is gripping and its a good and clean movie with no bad words.

Ranvir Shorey steals the show in this corruption oriented part court room drama. The film has some really good acting and, I can't believe I am saying this, good writing too except that the climax though is the right step forward it is still not satisfactory. But well written nonetheless. Good direction, good writing, good acting & no nonsense drama. It stays to the point without unnecessary moments. The film has a good pace and never stops to take a breath. Worth a watch!

Anwar Says: An excellent and gripping court room drama with some of the better actors around, Vinay Pathak, Ranveer Shourie and Gul Panag but the show has been stolen by Vinod Mehra's son Rohan Vinod Mehra . Story is by Manish Gupta , the writer of Article 375 narrates different for different character and also directs them differently.

The 99 minutes movie is not cinematic but this low budget film knows how to make the plot moving. However, the movie hardly able to draw a line between big and small finance and big and small scam . Shourie in his Parsi Hindi, doesn't impress as he tries to influence the court and Pathak is also not at his best .

The movie still has the intriguing continuation, what's next ? A subdued film with a bilingual exercise, which may engage you till end due to it's sharp editing. Watch it only if you like courtroom scenes.

With pathak and shorey's stellar performance its rohan mehra (s/o vinod mehra) flawless performance stands tall, with no filmy logics its carries a typical courtroom drama and holds u easily.... Screenplay is the major strength of the film.

With Pathak and Shorey's flawless performance it is still Rohan mehra(S/o vinod mehra) shines with a natural performance....with no filmy logics and considering the budget the director have neatly brought the product worthy.... A good time pass entertainer.

Those who have watched "Nail Polish" movie can relate much. Script is not very higher level but enough to stuck with it for 100 minutes. Acting is super from all of them. Everything were fast paced. It seemed the story deserves 30 minutes extra for its better buildup. But it doesn't. Well execution within tough budget.

The storyline of this movie is good but not that much interesting as expected. The acting is good. Character play also very much good. Because of the story line and specially the ending sequence is not that much of interesting as we expecting.

A low budget courtroom drama that has some stuff in it,with the writer of prequel taking the direction part did better and manages to give neat screenplay revelations at proper intervals..... An interesting film that kept me hooked from beginning to end. It's a crime thriller about a man who's accused of a crime he didn't commit, and the whole story is about him trying to prove his innocence.

The plot has lots of twists and turns, so I was constantly trying to figure out what was going to happen next. It's one of those movies where you can't look away, and it doesn't drag at any point.

The performances in the film are fantastic. Vinay Pathak is amazing as the lead actor. He brings so much emotion to his role, and you really feel for his character throughout the movie. Rohan Mehra also does a great job, and the two of them together make the story even more engaging. Ranvir Shorey is a marvel, he truly knows how to live a character.

What I really liked about 420 IPC is that it's not just another courtroom drama. It mixes in suspense and thrilling moments, making it feel fresh and different from other movies in the genre. The direction and writing are spot-on, keeping everything sharp and interesting.

Some things in this movie seemed a bit incredulous, kind of unbelievable. But still, it manages to captivate the viewer for the full duration. The cast is just superb. Rohan Mehra is much better than many of the so called star kids. At least he knows how to deliver dialogues in a clear voice! But for me the best actor was as always Ranveer Shourie...just a fantastic performance, in a very subdued role. All in all, a pretty decent attempt, nice film.

Excellent movie with very competent acting by everyone. The direction,editing and dialogues were very crisp and absolutely spot on.

If you enjoy movies based on the justice system or court based films,then make sure you don't miss this one as it's an absolute gem!

Main lead was stiff , forceful english dialogues,, untimely background music .

Script was okay but it's a total mis match of everything . Just because of the main lead , other talented actors talents got wasted!

Its a great court room drama film With general language. This film Has no unnecessary drama.

Film is very good. Every actor is Perfect. This movie shows that how Court works without any filmy drama.

Poor and predictive storyline.. starcast like Ranveer Shorey Vinay Pathak are more capable of delivery outstanding performances with strong story line.. characters should have been more developed with powerful dialogues in courtroom scenes.. the intensity of court room drama was missing.. overall movie creates an image but does not justifies the story/ talent of actors.

Great writing, unexpected twists..Shorey and Pathak have done some phenomenal acting, Shorey a few strides ahead this time...but Mehra was a surprise, smart and crisp..hope he has the good sense to do sensible work in future too..Gul Panag was an excellent choice for her character.

Each and every minute level matter related to topic/theme has been shown and appriciated the efforts and creativity for whole team.

Story and twist both are fabulous.

The young lead lawyer is the culprit for this rating. His voice over was so bad, wasn't matching at all! Direction & acting could've been better.

Loop holes is the story are big and nothing else is there to hide them. Music is so bad!

Another Vinay Pathak movie which has disappointed me. He is choosing scripts without considering directors.

Only save is Ranvir Shorey. Two stars for his acting. But he couldn't save the movie alone.

Excellently made low budget legal drama! Top notch performances, especially by Ranvir Shorey. Vinay Pathak is as brilliant as usual. The director has handled the script and pacing beautifully.
