Transproofed

As someone who is transgender, I enjoyed Transproofed. It brought comedy to a very serious question: Does one hide her transgender "status" to a date? Andrea James (as Joyce) and Calpernia Addams (as Ava) successfully portray both sides of that dilemma. Joel Lambert as Mike does a good job as Ava's hot new boyfriend. Ava asks for Joyce's help in "transproofing" her apartment: that is, getting rid of any "evidence" that Ava is a transsexual. The quick transformation of Ava's apartment in preparation of the arrival of Mike is complete and leaves Ava in a dilemma. Did the transformation go to far? Andrea James and Calpernia Addams founded Deep Stealth Productions, the company that produced this short. The music is also fantastic.
