Subuk

I watched the film "Subuk" with great interest, especially since I knew little about the problems associated with raising autistic children. While the film was quite conventional in its artistic aspect, it's been a long time since I saw a work that made me reflect so much. First of all, I saw that often chance can completely change our lives so that they can take completely different paths. The main character, Marysia (Malgorzata Gorol), was not a traditional, conservative woman who only thinks about her husband and children, but rather a modern girl with her own ambitions. However, a pure coincidence turned her life into a series of sacrifices and almost deprived her of privacy. Although I am not a supporter of countries with bloated social welfare, I think that as a society we should make sure that such people are never left without help. Secondly, I understood that autistic people may deviate from accepted norms, but they also have their own world and their own talents, and it is necessary to communicate with them. I was very moved by the fate of Marysia from the film, and I strongly sided with her in her fight against life's adversities. I also liked the playing of Malgorzata Gorol and Andrzej Seweryn. So, to sum up, I think that "Subuk" is an engaging film that has educational value but at the same time gives room for independent reflection.
