The first season of "Papu, Bonny ja Heikki" concluded in May 29, 1991. Between September 5 and November 21, 1991, the character of "Papu" hosted seven episodes of the children's magazine program "Lasten TV puoli kuusi" on Thursdays. A new spin-off series "Papushow" premiered in January 1, 1992 on "Lasten TV puoli kuusi" on Wednesdays (shown together with "Kissaiskuja" and "Sanaleikki"). Both "Papushow" and the second season of "Papu, Bonny ja Heikki" aired at the same time in 1992.
The last episode of "Papushow" aired in May 20, 1992. After "Papushow" between June 1 and 18, 1992, the character of Papu hosted 12 episodes of "Lasten TV puoli kuusi" from Monday to Thursday (in the TV listings, the host is sometimes erroneously listed as Mikko Kivinen). The last episode of "Lasten TV puoli kuusi" aired in June 18, 1992, replaced by a similar children's magazine program "Veturi". Rerun episodes of "Papushow" aired on "Veturi" in February and May, 1993, usually compiling two episodes into one. A new series "Papukuvat" premiered on "Veturi" in September 2, 1992.
