I'm not really big on weddings / wedding movies, but this one had a few good twists. Despite the extra hurdles of the pandemic, this show is beautifully produced in all aspects. No matter what the setbacks, amazing things can always happen, so hang on in there. If you like to watch at the portrayed time of year, this story is set around August 12, as the Perseid Meteor Shower briefly features. Despite a charismatic lead in Emily Tenant, there just wasn't enough content or supporting cast to make it a winner.

I absolutely felt the same as a few other recent comments I just saw... It seemed as if it could have really been pretty good. Emily Tenant is definitely a talent and with watching, but she can't carry the entire thing by herself.

The content/script was shy, and there could definitely been some better delivery on what decent content did exist.

Still it it was enjoyed, but likely not one I'd choose to watch a second time.

Emily Tenant is an 8 here, the rest of the movie gets a 5... Overall, a 6.

The movie had the ingredients to create a good drama: a girl worrying about her career, a nasty would-be-sponsor, a love rival, a father-son incomprehension, etc.... Unfortunately, the script wanders around the issues, the characters are inconsistent and all dissolves into an end where meek people blend in a nirvana of senses. What could have been stimulating delivers sleep.

Considering the genre, you have to enjoy it for what it is.

Unfortunately it becomes very clear but not very fast that this movie was made at a time when human contact was limited.

So what follows re numerous awkward interacions between several characters.

Clearly there was some urgency to get this film out post hast but it's a real shame hat the producers didn't just sequester everyone so they coul at least speak naturally to each other.

Despite that though, there are a lot moment where you find yourself smiling about.

Also, there are some small twists from the cliche which will pleasantly surprise you.

I'd say still worth the watch - perhaps ignore that the actors are most likely wearing their own clothes.
