This film came on directly after a government announcement about the Covid level 4 lockdowns and yet somehow even after that it was still the worst thing I saw all day.

The type of movie that I enjoy. Sweet, and not much drama, just enough to keep it interesting. No back stabbing, no second guessing, just a clean and family friendly film. Enjoyed it a lot.

The movie had the ingredients to create a good drama: a girl worrying about her career, a nasty would-be-sponsor, a love rival, a father-son incomprehension, etc.... Unfortunately, the script wanders around the issues, the characters are inconsistent and all dissolves into an end where meek people blend in a nirvana of senses. What could have been stimulating delivers sleep.

I'm not really big on weddings / wedding movies, but this one had a few good twists. Despite the extra hurdles of the pandemic, this show is beautifully produced in all aspects. No matter what the setbacks, amazing things can always happen, so hang on in there. If you like to watch at the portrayed time of year, this story is set around August 12, as the Perseid Meteor Shower briefly features.
