Charming

It's a great show! It's very Japanese in terms of the subject matter which is focus on food. The dad is very likable, but his wife and daughter are totally snobs! They are cruel and heartless at times. They don't try to understand his dad at all! Overall it's a very charming show minus the wife and daughter!!!

Very heartwarming show

A show that is not overly dramatic, and realistic (which I like a lot) in the way it showcases an ordinary life character unearthing extraordinary food story during his various endangered food trip adventures. It really tug at your heartstring with the story of each and every restaurant owner, coupled with the great acting of the male lead. Highly recommended!
