Ok I've never written a review on here before and it's painfully obvious as to how late I am. However, what did you people expect from this movie? The entire point of it is that it was different segments with not much of a plot just trying to get some laughs out of people and it was hilarious. What did you people want an Oscar worthy comedy? No it was never meant to be that. Just to make you laugh and it was funny. If you did not find it funny then I'm guessing you are somebody who still thinks SNL is funny. It's gross out humor. Cmon people the home schooled segment was great. My god relax and take this movie for what it is. Again just different segments that really don't have a point beyond creating humor. That's exactly what it did.
I don't know, maybe I just have a strange sense of humor, but I thought this movie was funny. I always find it funny when serious actors do slapstick roles. I watched it several times and I still find it funny. I say if you like movies like Airplane or Blazing Saddles, just a hell of a lot nastier and rude, then this is the movie for you.
I've been curious about this movie for a long time. I finally watched it today after finding it at the Dollar tree maybe a week or so ago. Some of the shorts were quite entertaining like the Emma Stone and Liev Schreiber shorts. But there are some that were just uninteresting to me the Hugh Jackman and Chris Pratt Shorts. Not the worst movie watching experience I've had but not the best.
This is not a movie everyone is going to like. In fact, you'll love it or hate it. It's crass, stupid, absurd, nonsensical, devoid of story or message - and yet, it's just a funny movie to watch with friends of like mind and a few drinks.
It's literally PACKED with Hollywood talent - every great actor or comedian you can think of has a part. That's what lifts it up IMO. You have talented, A-list actors doing to most offensive and dumb sketches you can think of, and somehow it comes together as some sort of weird, trippy compilation of Comedy Central and MTV, back when it was actually cool and edgy.
If the first 10 minutes don't grab you - the rest won't either. But if you like that, it's just more of it.

OMG. I thought I knew what to expect but reality turned out to be much more stunning. This movie is something beyond the line dividing good from bad. Jokes are so trashy they make you laugh to tears. But actually the only thing that keeps this movie afloat are the actors. Without these huge Hollywood stars it would be a complete disaster, but when you see Hugh Jackman, Gerard Butler, Kate Winslet, Halle Berry and others, you unwillingly start to think that probably this movie has some value.
If you enjoy humor like in Jay and Silent Bob, you have got to see Movie 43. You'll laugh your ass of. And probably puke couple of times :)

- QuizThe movie was filmed over a span of four years. Production took so long because filming had to be done around the actors' busy schedules. The segment with Kate Winslet and Hugh Jackman was the first to be filmed, and producer Charles B. Wessler used it to secure the financing for the rest of the movie. He called in a lot of favors to get as many high-profile actors as possible for the other short films, most of them willing to work for a few days on something unconventional. However, almost none of the actors knew completely what the other segments were about, or how the full movie would be. When it came out, none of the major actors wanted to promote it.
- BlooperIn the second segment, the guy is pouring coffee into a cup being held, after the scene change, the cup is on the coffee table.
- Citazioni
Nathan: [segment "Middleschool Date"] Hello, 9-1-1? Yeah, my friend is bleeding out of her vagina!
Dad (segment "Middleschool Date"): Nathan, Nathan, listen.
Nathan: Why are you laughing at me?
- Curiosità sui creditiThe "Beezel" segment runs in between the segment credits and the rest of the credits.
- Versioni alternativeThe wraparound involving the segments being movie pitches was replaced in the UK Alternate Cut Version, released on the UK Blu-Ray, with an alternate wraparound about two teenagers and an 11-year-old trying to find the most banned movie in the world.
