Kemono Jihen

It's not that interesting...as a huge anime fan I does not recommend this.Story is good and all but it lacks plot

The first season is quite short with only 12 episodes. The story so far serves mainly as an introduction to the the main cast, and the bigger plot only reveals itself at the season finale. Needless to say, I'm beyond looking forward to the next installments.

The main characters are mostly children, so I was misled into thinking Kemono Jihen is mostly an enjoyable action anime. It is indeed enjoyable, but the anime is dubiously suitable for children. While the show does not state directly, but mature audience watching will instantly understand the darker, adult elements between the lines.

Started oddly out of nowhere but it gets better as it goes on. Im a huge fan of monster verse/hunting so this is highly recommended for someone like me. Great animation style, very chill tone with dark and spooky sound scores. Loving the action & mystery part of this anime. Great sound effects as well. Some great emotional parts that brought me to tear - some relatable

My favorite character is detective inugami, potrayed as someone that is very likelable and weird in a cool way (simple character design, with great skill sets and very chill & lazy tone voice casting). Almost like a father figure for 3 boys that he picked up - sounds weird but its nothing like that.

Kabane on the other hand with a very generic character design and an okay voice casting that fit well with the characterisation and attitude. Potrayed as emotionless, kind and strong willed boy. Kabane for me looks better in his monster form that is much cooler and intersting design. Awesome perks and skill sets tho.

Both shiki & akira have pretty generic design and characterisation as well. Shiki as the short tempered bad boy and akira as the cute comedic release girly looking boy - shocking lol. Ideal side characters for that dull looking kabane lol. But their skill sets tho were dope. Spider boy and ice boy.

Mihai the bossy IT vampire and Kon as the obsessive yet strong shape shifting fox demon - same generic characters design and just an okay voice casting but cool skill sets too.

Even more casts will be introduced and eventually join the group. All of them have their own perks which made me invested more into this great world building fantasy world.

Great storyline (although something common in shounen). Great characters development arc.

An okay intro song for me (very zoid from 90s vibe - not to my liking) & the ending song was bad. Highly recommended if you like yokai and fairytail esque animation.

It's a great show characters are good too with little background story looking forward to season 2.

After watching this anime anyone would think that it it might look like a normal anime but it is not as the story progresses the and the characters are established the story takes a good twist and become really depressing and heartbreaking. There was a movement when I was about to cry . But the story is good and I recommend everyone to just give it a try.
