I’ve been deep in the sketch comedy trenches this past year, and my wife’s been diving headfirst into improv — so yeah, when I saw that Prime Video had a new movie where an improv team goes undercover, it was a no brainer. “Deep Cover” takes a bunch of clueless performers and drops them into a real criminal operation, and you can probably guess how that goes. That got me thinking of other action comedies on Prime Video, and it turns out they have a pretty strong lineup. After taking on a role as the antagonist in the 2001 adventure sequel The Mummy Returns, he began to transition toward acting, and he has become a major movie star with many blockbuster movies and franchises under his belt, including the new Jumanji movies, the Fast Saga, the Moana franchise, Rampage, and more.

However, his new Christmas action-comedy underperformed both critically and commercially. On Rotten Tomatoes, it earned a dismal 30% score from critics, which ties it with 2005's Be Cool as the eighth worst-rated Dwayne Johnson movie ever. Paramount and Miramax announced earlier this year that they’re making another film after director Malcom D. Lee’s Scary Movie 5 in 2013. The actress, who played Cindy Campbell in the franchise’s first four films from 2000 to 2006, recently shared with People magazine what it would take for her to join the upcoming movie.

The WWE alum confirmed that he snuck his signature Bautista Bomb into a fight scene in his new action comedy sequel My Spy: The Eternal City, which is now available to stream on Prime Video.

“I just wanted to put it in,” Bautista told ComicBook.com. “We were working on that fight scene and I was like, ‘Oh man this would be fun.’ And now, it’s kind of become my obsession. I’m trying to squeeze it into every film just because. It’s one of those Easter eggs. I think if I can get it into every film, I will. It’s just a nod to my career. A nod to the fans.”
