One of the worst movies i've seen in my life. Shameful.

I am really sorry for my hard opinion but I thing is one of those movies where you can find everything really bad.

The script is terrible, the only acting that I can save is Oscar Jaenaga's performance, lying shots, poor art, a revolving combination safe that never turns, beginner mistakes in the script, well... a million dollars? Really? They were thrown in the trash. Congratulations to whoever got the locations. Predictable and really bored.

I saw this movie on Amazon I read the description and it looks so boring and I passed it and then a couple weeks later I looked at it again and I said wait that's Meg Ryan and they look like popular Stars looks let's take a look and I watched it and it was the most boring movie I probably have ever seen I stopped watching it and I don't want to finish it I just don't understand why this movie is so darn boring a Down and Out Feel producer agrees to make his nephew's film about 19th century English Statesman Benjamin Disraeli who the hell is Benjamin Disraeli my God no wonder it's so boring blah.

One of the worst movies I have tried to watch. Impossible to watch from first seconds. Cringy acting and a Mexican Soap Opera level of acting and script. Movie is full of unnecessary dramatic dialogue scenes. There is no narrative development. Was this supposed to be a suspense, a drama or something else? I do not understand.

I am very sad to see that this movie when googled is ranked high as its English title is "the deal", and people are actually looking for a pandemic movie with exactly the same title.

The first few movies I watched have left me with a feeling of emptiness. And this comes from the fact that this movie tries to "bother" some acting scenes and characters from similar US made movies.

The direction helps to make this movie a gripping mystery, but the script doesn't end up convincing me.

The mystery is maintained very well during almost the entire film, creating an atmosphere of convincing tension, also accompanied by a good plot twist, but the writing of this story is half done, not everything has a development, although what does have to, It was convincing to me, some characters have no development or are very flat, the main flaw in the script is the ending, since at first impressions it is shocking, then it ends up being ridiculous and without much explanation of why the characters made those decisions, just like that feels incomplete and unsatisfying. The performances are not bad, in fact they are convincing, but they do not have much personality and do not express many emotions, also due to the weak writing, there are some moments in the editing of the scenes where there are blows that did not convince me, as well some decisions made by the characters seemed absurd to me.

I think it stands out from other Mexican films, because it is of a very different genre from comedy and the mystery can be convincing, but even so it is impossible not to see its flaws, especially in the script, It's not very bad but it's not perfect either.

No pun intended I reckon - you could argue that Death does not have to be finite/the end. And the movie is trying to play with you, as the characters are playing with each other during the movie. Some actions may feel weird to say the least, but they do make sense overall. Of course you have to suspend your disbelief and just go with the flow.

There is a reason to the madness we experience here and the way the characters deal with each other. There is a lot of mystery and guessing going on. What really happened? Did things happen the way they are told? Is something omitted? Again if you like movies that keep you guessing, with a bit of violence and sex thrown your way ... well you could do a lot worse than this right here.
