Of course I had never heard about this 2008 action movie prior to stumbling upon it by random chance here in 2025. And given it being a movie that I had never heard about, nor seen before, of course I opted to give the movie a fair chance.
But in all honesty, from the movie's cover, which looked like something you'd expect when you order something from a certain Chinese-based online webstore, I have to say that I harbored no expectations to director Ara Paiaya's 2008 movie at all.
Needless to say that I was not familiar with a single actor or actress on the cast list. The acting performances were okay, though nothing mentionable or memorable.
The entire movie was a constant blur. I kid you not, I don't think there was a single steady and still scene in the movie where the camera wasn't fidgeting all over the place. So talk about insanely lousy camera-work throughout the course of movie. All it did was make the movie look even more amateurish and home-made than it actually was.
My rating of director Ara Paiaya's 2008 movie "Maximum Impact" lands on a one out of ten stars. I just couldn't deal with the constantly shaky camera that was all over the place in every single scene.
