This show doesn't bring anything new to the table of anime. But to me, it's been a fun watch. The main character is relatable and I like the way we get to see glimpses of his pass life. Its a little bit of a slow burn. It's has some light comedy and some action. The show has a calming atmosphere to it that just really grabbed me. It's not a show for everyone. If you are a fan of slice of life anime. Or just wanting to relax and set back this anime will be for you. Over all the animation looks good. This show would be in my top 25 anime to watch.

No drama, little conflict, delightful simply delightful and it should get more than 2 seasons. Sometimes these sweet little anime's who don't make us cry but smile should get more credit.

This is a cute OP hero makes friends and does good things for 12 episodes. This show is a torrent of feel good scenes to escape into when life is tough. I really enjoyed this show, because there was no conflict, and sometimes its nice to leave a show with a smile on one's face rather than a blubbering mess.

It is free of contrived drama for drama's sake, and that's an even trade off for me.

Watch this if you want to smile for 6 straight hours.

I normally watch anime subbed and if I enjoy it rewatch it when full dubs out, couldn't make it through this because of females voice for main character, just stupid. Shows nice and cute but that's just too annoying for me personally.

Really enjoy the storyline and the characters. Big fan of 'isekai' genre. Love this fantasy world, the adventure as well the action thought there werent that much to begin with. Soothing sound effects and great voice casts.

Felt like playing a mobile game as it involve class upgrade and running business. Recommended.

Season 2 was underwhelming. Lack actions and adventure compared to season 1. This season solely focuses on expanding ryoma's business.

It's kinda similar to "that day I was reincarnated as a slime", that series was kinda dark type this is just a "fairy" type series, enjoyable to watch and also voice of MC is so cute I really liked it and also the FMC's voice too .... Everyone's voice is cute

I love this series. It is fun and endearing, filled with good-hearted people. It never fails to make me smile and feel good. It is not a complex story, but it does not need to be. It is about the rewards of kindness.

The first couple of episodes are really good (9/10 stars) I must admit, but overall the whole series is a childish (5/10 stars)

It really starts strong with a well developed magic system, a well written story, a lot like an overly diluted lazy version of "that time I got reincarnated as a slime"

Unfortunately a couple of episodes in (episode 7 to be precise) it degrades into repetitive pointless manipulative nonsense the writing takes a nose dive when the plot starts hyper focusing on the business and starts going around in circles, its going nowhere.

The baby-ish voices and dialogue gets annoying, 11 years old is not that young, they gave a subpar reason but it doesn't hold up, everyone is so unreasonably polite that the story lacks any form of tension and the main character apologizes way too much for no reason.

By The Grace Of The Gods is an isekai that's a hit or miss with some people simply because it's very light-hearted in tone that's, as one reviewer put with my own spin on it, fairytale-esque. Struggles, strife, suffering, loss or certain hells that most protagonists in anime go through usually defines these shows. But not this one. It also only lightly touches on dark subject matter very briefly and returns to the happy stuff. But, it also brings up cool ideas you'd typically see in RPG games when you consider how they present the slimes capabilities. But if you're looking for an anime with a more serious or darker tone or that's really f-ed up, this isn't the one for you. Some people really hate a lack of "real conflict" or confrontation. This really isn't action-packed or much of a funny show. This is more of a streamlined "everything goes perfectly" sorta thing.

Seriously why just 12 episodes !?they could easily make this a whole 100 or 200 episodes series as it has a plot with open ending ! But if i say so this is not the best anime yet because of the the way it progress till thr end .I just literally waiting for some concludive ending but it just ended with a tease for second season and we have to wait for an entire year or more which is fustrating

On paper a western production company would never pick this up. There is no big drama, no over the top villain or villains and even the magic used is fairly low-key compared to a lot of anime. That's what makes BTGOTG awesome!

It's a stress free, effortless viewing experience where you want only good things for the main character and that's precisely what happens. You almost find yourself suspicious of some subsidiary characters because you're expecting one or more of them to be wolves in sheep's clothing but they aren't.

I really hope this series flourishes because watching it is a truly uplifting experience that I would recommend to anyone but particularly if, like me, you're weary of the real world and perhaps graced with depression. Watching Ryoma enjoy the life this world denied him always cheers me up.

This is one of the best anime I have ever seen..... All the characters are so cute and funny and the characters give you a important lesson of life and reality that is yet to be faced.

But don't delay season 2 this much...

I watch the entire anime, and I have to say that it left me wanting a better plot. There was not much to the storyline. They left a couple things out, not explaining it further, and kind of pushing the characters that you do wanna see more and know more of their backstory out. We don't get much backstory on the characters that we do want to know that are the side characters. It just seems to revolve around the main character and his slime obsession. Unfortunately, it is understood that we are supposed to follow the main character, but I would also like to understand the side characters. Where they come from and who they are. Honestly, it was pretty boring. Had a hard time following along at some points.

This anime makes the main character become bland with no incredible abilities as portrayed in the manga/novel.

They made shortcuts and ignore some important parts in the manga/novel, which made the story boring.
