The Cold Case team investigates some bones found in a car that was about to be crushed. They discover that they're the remains of a single mom who worked at a crooked 1980's car dealership, much to the chagrin of her now grown-up daughter.

Remains found in a car just about to be crushed, end up belonging to a car sales-woman considered missing since 1981. The detectives round up suspects and interview them, starting with the victim's family and friends, then moving on to her colleagues. The more the detectives learn as they keep adding pieces to the puzzle, the more the harsh world of selling cars at the time is exposed; which seemed to be full of conflicts, intrigues, secrets and hidden agendas.—Paikia

The team investigates the 1981 case of Donna D'Amico, Marisa's missing 22-year-old single mother, whose body is found in the trunk of a car and soon discover that she may have been growing wise to the shady chop shop operations at the car dealership where she had worked.
