First good Tubi original?

There's so much charm packed into this 95 minute gem of a film. Eduardo Covarrubias Gives such a beautiful and quaint performance and fully realizes his character with his subtle performance. Director and screenwriter Raul Lopez offers a beautiful perspective on man who doesn't have much, a man who yearns for more- through the film he learns to be happy with what he has and what he's given. MUST WATCH!

In the simplest and simple way, tell an ordinary people's dream story. Many places are so familiar, because it has actually happened around us. There are so many reversals and dreams come true in the world. Most people continue to walk firmly in the blow again and again, and finally find that the most valuable are those who have been accompanying you on the road.

Magical

The plot is seemingly formulaic but actually deep and nuanced, the acting and writing is so good (especially if you stick to the Spanish), and the overall plot is simply magical. Great family movie. Reminds me a bit of "The Milagro Beanfield War" and more recent "Coco". The movie winds unhurried through its story and the ending is unexpectedly beautiful. Worthy of a Gabriel Garcia Marquez seal of approval.

The setting is a poor working class neighborhood in Guadalajara with a central theme being the love of the beauty of futbol along with the poetry of futbol announcers (in Spanish), essentially live action poetry summarizing the love of the flow of futbol...the Beautiful Game.
