Yet another cop story from an increasingly repetitive Manoj Bajpayee ends up being another disappointment after the dumpster fire that was Silence.

The National Award-winner stars as a police control operative who is hounded by a suicidal panicked woman (Neena Gupta). How we goes out unravelling her motives behind the same forms the rest of this story.

Director Renzil D'Silva fails to make the most of his stellar cast as well as in interesting premise as the narrative falls apart after the initial setup. The dialogues are especially tacky and contrived and reduce the gravitas of even the most crucial scenes.

For a story that should have been an adrenaline pumping edge-of-the-seat experience, there is no sense of urgency or requisitie elements of suspense inserted into the narration.

Bajpayee really runs the risk of being typecast with the sheer volume of cop roles he is doing these days. Neena Gupta's role is criminally underwritten while Sakshi Tanwar was excellent in the limited screen time she got

There was nothing even actors of Manoj Bajpayee and Neena Gupta's caliber could do to save this amateurish effort as they were given precious little to work with.
