Several fans accused Britt Robertson of wearing a wig in The Merry Gentlemen, and - seeing as she has a history of doing such for roles - these detractors may be onto something. 

Netflix's latest holiday-themed romance movie stars Robertson as Ashley, a small-town dancer who, after being fired from her longtime troupe, takes it upon herself to help save her parents' failing bar/performance venue with a ticketed male dance revue. 

The snow-kissed streaming blockbuster was released on Netflix on November 20, marking Robertson's first movie role since last year's The Re-Education of Molly Singer.

Nico Santos is headed to “St. Denis Medical” and “Night Court” Season 3.

The “Crazy Rich Asians” star will reunite with “Superstore” team Justin Spitzer and Eric Ledgin as well as stars Kaliko Kauahi and Josh Lawson as he takes on a guest starring role in NBC’s upcoming medical mockumentary.

Santos will guest star in “St. Denis Medical” as Rene, “a veteran Rn, and leader of a clique of nurses that give off a ‘Mean Girls’ vibe — which makes Rene the ‘Regina George’ of St. Denis,” according to his official character description. It that “his intimidating demeanor” will present a challenge for Allison Tolman’s Alex, who is the head nurse.

In addition to Kauahi and Tolman, “St. Denis Medical” also stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Mekki Leeper and Kahyun Kim.

It’s a weird month on Netflix in February; one that will probably require you to be open-minded about the shows and movies you’re willing to consume on the service.

There are quite a few library TV series arriving this month, for example. If you’re ready to start binge-watching Monk, My Wife and Kids, or acclaimed show Warrior, you’re in luck, as those complete seasons will be available. The Blacklist season 10, Curb Your Enthusiasm season 12, Brooklyn Nine-Nine seasons 1-4, and Young Sheldon season 6 will also be hitting the ‘Flix.

In terms of what’s new, there’s a ton of foreign language content and true crime stuff, but original English language stuff will largely be unscripted fare like Love is Blind, which is back for a new season. Actor and producer Jonathan Lipnicki has joined production, post-production and distribution company Buffalo 8 as an executive producer.

Lipnicki made a mark with his performance alongside Tom Cruise in “Jerry Maguire,” before becoming the lead in the family franchise “Stuart Little.” He will soon be seen in the upcoming TBS show “The Joe Schmo Show,” Peter Pardini’s film “Man Goes on Rant” and Britt Robertson-led film “The Re-Education of Molly Singer.”
