According to the official press release, Snook will play Marissa Irvine, a mom who "arrives to collect her young son Milo from his first playdate, but the woman who answers the door isn't a mother she recognizes. She doesn't have Milo and has never heard of him.

Peacock has announced the premiere date for All Her Fault, the upcoming mystery drama miniseries starring Sarah Snook (Succession). The thriller series is an adaptation of Andrea Mara’s novel.

All Her Fault premieres on Peacock with four episodes on November 6, followed by two new episodes every Thursday through November 20.

It’s been over two years since “Succession” signed off, and now Sarah Snook is making her return to television. Above is a first look of her in the new Peacock drama “All Her Fault,” based on Andrea Mara’s 2021 novel of the same name. The show will premiere its first four episodes on November 6, with two episodes each dropping the following two weeks, to wrap on November 20.

It seems like a good thing this release is compressed, because this show looks like a masterclass in anxiety. As in Mara’s novel, Snook will play Marissa, a mom who arrives to pick up her son Milo from his first-ever play date. When the door opens, the woman greeting her is not at all the mother of Milo’s friend Marissa’s expecting — and she’s never even heard of Milo at all. As the official logline reads, “And so begins every parent’s worst nightmare.

A new Clayface movie is officially on the way, and fresh reports are giving fans a clearer picture of what to expect. According to Nexus Point News, the film will tell a dark and disturbing story about a struggling Hollywood actor who ends up turning into a monster made of clay.

DC Studios has described the film as an R-rated body horror that will show the tragic origins of one of Batman’s classic villains.

The movie was originally thought up by horror filmmaker Mike Flanagan, known for Doctor Sleep and The Haunting of Hill House. Flanagan first became interested in Clayface back in 2021 and kept pitching his idea to DC. In March 2023, Flanagan and his producing partner Trevor Macy met with DC Studios bosses James Gunn and Peter Safran to talk about the project.

Reports say that from the start, the idea was for Clayface to be more than just a typical villain.

A new Clayface movie is officially happening, and now fresh details are coming out about what fans can expect from the film. New report from Nexus Point News claims Clayface will be a dark, body horror story about a struggling actor who ends up becoming a monster made entirely of clay.

The movie was first imagined by filmmaker Mike Flanagan, known for The Haunting of Hill House and Doctor Sleep. Flanagan had been interested in Clayface since 2021 and pitched the idea to DC several times.

In 2023, he met with DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran to discuss the project. Interestingly, Clayface won’t be a typical villain in this film, which is different from how he’s usually shown in the comics. Safran has compared the tone of the movie to the classic horror film The Fly from 1986.

Throughout its long run, The Big Bang Theory has occasionally slipped on character details, including some related to Raj Koothrappali, portrayed by Kunal Nayyar. It was recently reported that the search for Clayface's lead had come down to four actors: Jack O'Connell (28 Years Later), Tom Blyth (The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes), Leo Woodall (The White Lotus), and George MacKay (1917). 

Well, it's turned out to be none of them. DC Studios co-ceo James Gunn has confirmed that Welsh actor Tom Rhys Harries will take on the title role in Clayface, with The Wrap's Umberto Gonzalez reporting that he'll play the Matt Hagen version of the villain.

While Harries is a relative unknown, he's racked up credits in Apple TV+'s Suspicion, as well as The Return, Kandahar, and The Gentleman. 

Born in Cardiff, Wales, Harries attended The Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and made his West End stage debut in 2013 in Jez Butterworth's Mojo opposite Colin Morgan, Rupert Grint, and Ben Whishaw.

The actor who will portray Clayface in James Gunn’s Dcu has been officially revealed, meaning the franchise has found one of its core villains and its main star for its first villain film. Clayface was already announced as the third feature film in the Dcu, and was originally expected to go into production sometime in 2025 since its attached release date has been, and still is, September 11, 2026.

Tom Rhys Harries will officially be playing Clayface (aka Basil Karlo) in the Clayface Dcu film, which is a part of James Gunn's new Dcu. The Welsh actor is best known for his work in Apple TV's Suspicion, White Lines, and The Gentlemen.

Tom Rhys Harries, a relative newcomer, has scored the high-profile lead role in “Clayface,” an upcoming DC Studios adventure.

James Gunn, the head honcho at DC, delivered the news on social media, tweeting, “After a long and incredibly exhaustive search, we finally have our Dcu Clayface in Tom Rhys Harries. Both [‘The Batman’ director] Matt Reeves and I were just blown away by this guy, and can’t wait for you to see this film.”

Reeves is producing “Clayface,” which is written by Mike Flanagan (“The Fall of the House of Usher”) and directed by James Watkins (“Eden Lake”). The film is less superhero adventure than body horror flick, focusing on a B-movie actor who drinks a substance that’s supposed to help his career and which instead leaves him made entirely of clay. Think “Death Becomes Her” with fewer jokes.

DC character Clayface is getting a live action movie written by Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, Doctor Sleep, Life of Chuck) and directed by James Watkins (Eden Lake, The Woman in Black, Speak No Evil), and Deadline reports this morning that Welsh actor Tom Rhys Harries (Slaughterhouse Rulez) has landed the lead role.

The 34-year-old actor has also appeared in the television shows “Jekyll and Hyde” (2014), “Midsomer Murders,” “White Lines,” “Suspicion” and “Doctor Who,” as well as films including Hot Property, The Gentlemen, Kandahar, How Kids Roll, and The Return.

The Flanagan-penned Clayface movie is currently undergoing revisions, with writer Hossein Amini (Drive) coming on board to revise the script. Flanagan had recently revealed that his script was heavily inspired by the character’s appearance in “Batman: The Animated Series,” but there’s no telling how much that original script is going to change along the way.

Landing a series regular role on any kind of television show can be a dream come true for an up-and-coming actor, particularly if that series happens to be a network sitcom with an episode order that stretches into the 20s. That's some serious financial stability that, should the show catch on, could turn the actor into an audience favorite if not a full-blown television star.

Few ensembles have experienced greater long-term success in this department than the cast of "The Big Bang Theory." For 12 seasons stretching from 2007 to 2019, the series was anchored by its core five stars: Jim Parsons as Sheldon Cooper, Johnny Galecki as Leonard Hofstadter, Kaley Cuoco as Penny, Simon Helberg as Howard Wolowitz, and Kunal Nayyar as Rajesh Koothrappali. Some of these folks were better known than the others at first, but by the end of the show's run they'd become one of the most beloved sitcom casts in television history.

Martin Scorsese, Steven Spielberg and Paul Thomas Anderson have renewed their commitment to Turner Classic Movies, and George Stevens Jr. and Michael Schultz will be honored at the TCM Classic Film Festival in April, it was announced Saturday.

TCM also noted that new episodes of Two for One will return to the channel in April, with filmmakers and Ben Mankiewicz co-hosting a double feature on Saturday nights. Joe Dante, Kathy Bates and Jamie Lee Curtis will be among the guests.

TCM will continue to celebrate a different star every month, like Elvis Presley on what would have been his 90th birthday; Peter Sellers, Angela Lansbury, Rock Hudson, Paul Newman, Tony Curtis and Donald O’Connor on what would have been their 100th birthdays; and Dick Van Dyke on his 100th birthday in December.

Uma Thurman has been cast in “Dexter: Resurrection” at Paramount+ with Showtime, Variety has confirmed.

As previously announced, “Dexter” star Michael C. Hall will reprise the role of the titular serial killer in the series. No specific plot details are available for “Resurrection,” but the series will serve as a direct followup to “Dexter: New Blood.” Additional cast members include David Zayas, James Remar, and Jack Alcott.

Thurman will appear in the series regular role of Charley, described as “the Head of Security for mysterious billionaire Leon Prater. A former Special Ops officer, Charley worked various high-level private security jobs before taking on her position as the resourceful and meticulous right-hand woman for Prater.”

Although Thurman is best known for her feature roles, she was previously nominated for an Emmy for her guest role in the series “Smash” and won a Golden Globe for her work in the HBO film “Hysterical Blindness.

How To Get Away With Murder...

One of the many attributes that made Alfred Hitchcock one of the best filmmakers to ever do it was his ability to make actors of all calibers fit into the shiveringly ironic mold that he often wanted. From heavy-hitter legends to dutiful character actors to total no-names, he was usually able to get everyone on the same macabre page, often leading to numerous iconic performances. That makes it so strange that, on the whole, actors in his films didn't get much love from the Academy, with only a small handful of acting nominations in his filmography and a sole acting win. That win went to Joan Fontaine, who won Best Actress for her starring role in Suspicion, a chilling film that saw its heroine thrown into existential turmoil over a very untrustworthy partner.

Directed by Tosin Igho, the Nigerian supernatural crime thriller, Suspicion, explores Africa’s heritage of voodoo and black magic to set up an intriguing murder mystery by incorporating themes of corruption, betrayal, sacrifice, and friendship. While the movie might lack a bit in style, with budget being the main hindrance, it surely makes up for it by presenting a compelling narrative to back up decent performances by the leads and manages to form an emotional connection for the viewers to root for the characters as well. The cinematography could have assisted the ambition and potential of the story in a better way, but nevertheless, Suspicion might be what it takes to propel more such ventures to dive into the native African mythology and culture.

After a 14-year run as a feature filmmaker in England (which began during the silent era), Alfred Hitchcock was lured to Hollywood by the bold producer David O. Selznick to direct a big-screen adaptation of Daphne du Maurier's thriller novel "Rebecca." Though the two headstrong men clashed throughout the making of the movie, the finished 1940 film was a commercial and critical smash, topping the box office for the year and taking home the Academy Award for Best Picture. If there had been any doubts as to whether the British director's precise manner of visual storytelling, already perfected in triumphs like "The 39 Steps" and "The Lady Vanishes," would translate to Hollywood, they were instantly dispelled.

"Rebecca" would prove to be the least Hitchcockian movie the director would make in America, as the master of suspense wasted no time in reverting...

Now that they’ve set the year’s best film for a December 10 debut, the Criterion Channel have unveiled the rest of next month’s selection. John Waters’ films are inseparable from John Waters’ presence, making fitting Criterion’s decision to pair an eight-film retrospective (Multiple Maniacs to Cecil B. Demented) with his own “Adventures in Moviegoing” wherein the director extols virtues of Bergman, Chabrol, Barbara Loden, and Samuel Fuller. His own Polyester will have a Criterion Edition alongside the Bob Dylan doc Don’t Look Back, an iconic film in its own right and, I think, fitting companion to The Unknown with Lon Chaney, also streaming on Criterion. No Country for Old Men and Election receive likewise treatment; the latter appears in “MTV Productions,” a series featuring Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, The Original Kings of Comedy, and (coming close to Freddy Got Fingered for least-expected 2024 addition) Jackass: the Movie.

Mikey Madison has the potential to make history at the 2025 Oscars in Best Actress with Neon’s “Anora.” At the age of 25, she is receiving universal praise for her portrayal of the title character, a Brooklyn stripper who gets into a whirlwind, impetuous marriage. Sean Baker‘s wild romantic dramedy is continuing to gain massive buzz since winning the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, and Madison is currently headlined at the top of the combined odds at Gold Derby to win Best Actress. Should it occur, she would be the ninth youngest Best Actress Oscar winner and the first since over a decade ago.

We all have gross, weird habits. I'm not going to write mine down here, because I'm a lady and nobody needs to know that, but we all know that we do. Unfortunately for Johnny Galecki, his "Big Bang Theory" co-star Kunal Nayyar — who did ultimately play Raj Koothrappali on the series after briefly being fired before it began filming — has put all of Galecki's dirty little secrets on blast. Well, he's put at least one on blast — specifically, the really gross way that Galecki disposed of his chewing gum on the set of "The Big Bang Theory."

When IndieWire recently ranked the 25 best films of Alfred Hitchcock, it was probably no surprise to anyone that “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” the director’s sole attempt at a light romantic comedy, didn’t make the cut. Even Hitchcock himself tended to underrate the film, as when he told interviewer François Truffaut that “since I didn’t really understand the type of people who were portrayed in the film, all I did was photograph the scenes as written.” From a filmmaker who regularly dismissed movies he considered uncinematic as mere “photographs of people talking,” this was the ultimate self-directed insult.

Max’s upcoming medical procedural “The Pitt” has added nine new actors to its cast, Variety has learned.

The new cast members will star alongside previously announced series lead Noah Wyle as the “frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh,” per the official logline. Max has given a 15-episode order to the series.

The new series regulars are: Tracy Ifeachor, Patrick Ball, Supriya Ganesh, Fiona Dourif, Taylor Dearden, Isa Briones, Gerran Howell, Shabana Azeez and Katherine Lanasa.

Night, has his own new project with the Josh Hartnett suspense film Trap, his daughter Ishana has taken up the mantle of mystery horror in the new film The Watchers. Warner Bros.
